★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Laid back beach, far from the posh areas on Lido. The only place on Lido where you can indulge in some naked sunbathing and even naked swimming, especially during the weekdays when it's not that crowded with families and kids. The beach is wild, but pretty clean, the sea is clear and deliciously salty and silky, even though not very deep. And you can always find refuge in the sand dunes and the bushes, if the beach is too busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a must-see for every traveller to Venice, but if you have the time to get out here (about an hour by public transport from S. Marco), you won't regret it. A beautiful view of the Adriatic, no tourists, no beach clubs, just nature, fine sand, wind-swept dunes, and nature. Walk all the way south, and out the jetty to the end.
