Unbelievably beautiful location, very nice and friendly hosts, wonderful grounds with interesting animals- perfect!!!!!

Very good and accommodating hosts. Very nice place to stay if you want to have the Tuscan hills in your backyard.

Positive: Everything is perfect! The house, the breakfast, animals...I already missing the days there. And Lucia is so kind, she makes every detail wonderful! ;). Negative: Nothing needs to be improved, all perfect!.

Positive: We loved being close to the Pienza township..lovely surroundings, wonderful host and amazing breakfast. Perfect position to explore the surrounding villages. Host recommended the best restaurants !!!!. Negative: Nothing.. maybe an extra pillow.

Positive: The view from the property was beautiful and room itself was very clean.. Negative: Lucia or anybody else on the property doesn’t speak much of English which caused us problems in communication with her. We weren’t notified that cleaning lady will clean the apartment every day so we were still in our apartment in the morning when she entered in and we were asked to leave so she can clean the apartment. There is no do not disturb sign to hang on the door which would help a lot in cases like this. Also, please be aware that air conditioning is not included in price (additional 5 EUR if paid in cash or 10 EUR if paid by card). The location is great if you would like to spend time on property, but if you would like to go to Pienza and spend time there (like we did) the routes are not so good - one option is walking by the steep main road w/o pedestrian part and no night lights and other is through gravel olive plantation (private space, also not lightened and very steep). If you intend to walk to Pienza prepare for sweaty 15-20 min walking with either option. The property itself has numerous rules which you must obey. Also, we forgot something in the apartment and asked the Lucia to mail it back to us with shipping on us where she asked us for additional EUR 5 for her services (and shipping was EUR 10). All in all we didn’t feel welcome from the very first moment. We will for sure get back to Pienza, but will not stay in Agroturismo Il Colombaiolo..

Positive: the breakfast was great and my wife's gluten intolerance was well catered for. It was great to be on a working farm directly below one of Tuscany's most beautiful cities less than five minutes away with beautiful dramatic views over to Monte Amiata and the surrounding Tuscan countryside. A most relaxing and welcoming place to stay..

Positive: The room had a large comfortable bed and AC. The bathroom was clean. Free parking was included as we were driving through Tuscany. It's a 10 minute walk to Pienza town centre. The owners were welcoming and kind.. Negative: Nothing. Was great..

The room and bathroom were HUGE! The breakfast was homemade and fresh every morning and for a small fee she did all our laundry. The grounds and farm are so nice to walk around and the overview of Tuscany is just beautiful. Perfect distance from Pienza and she also recommended a cooking class about 15 minutes away. Plenty of parking, room service every day, and very affordable for what you get!
