★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pranzo con sei amici, ci siamo prenotati il tavolo fuori. Il proprietario gentilissimo ci ha accolto e proposto il menù degustazione calabrese (carne) a 25 euro: antipasto maxi, due primi (non assaggi) e una selezione di secondi di carne.
L'antipasto è stato spettacolare: 5 assaggi di antipasti tra cui salumi e formaggi locali, bucce di patate al forno con il miele (davvero sorprendenti), fagioli piccanti, cavolo viola e anche le lumache al pomodoro.
Due primi entrambi serviti in sperlonghe: medaglioni ripieni di ricotta e melanzane con sugo di pomodoro e ricotta (tre medaglioni a persona, giusti) e delle trofie ai funghi porcini (buone ma non al livello dei medaglioni).
Secondi di carne golosi e succulenti: salsicce alla griglia leggermente piccanti, pancetta e fettine di capocollo alla griglia.
Abbiamo anche assaggiato dell'ottimo vino rosso della casa.
Il proprietario, davvero un oste di livello, ci ha anche offerto l'amaro.
Servizio puntuale e cordiale.
Pranzo spettacolare, ci ha lasciato un bellissimo ricordo per la nostra vacanza calabrese.
 Lunch with six friends, we booked the table outside. The very kind owner welcomed us and proposed the Calabrian tasting menu (meat) for 25 euros: maxi appetizer, two first courses (not tastings) and a selection of meat main courses.
The appetizer was spectacular: 5 tastings of appetizers including local meats and cheeses, baked potato skins with honey (really amazing), spicy beans, purple cabbage and even snails in tomato sauce.
Two first courses both served in sperlonghe: medallions stuffed with ricotta and aubergines with tomato and ricotta sauce (three medallions per person, right) and trofie with porcini mushrooms (good but not at the level of medallions).
Greedy and succulent main courses of meat: slightly spicy grilled sausages, bacon and slices of grilled capocollo.
We also tasted some excellent house red wine.
The owner, truly a top-level host, also offered us the amaro.
Punctual and friendly service.
Spectacular lunch, left us a beautiful memory for our Calabrian vacation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viste le buone recensioni di altri evidentemente noi oggi siamo stati sfortunati. Prima pecca che non specifico all'ingresso. Il locale affollatissimo. Ci siamo seduti alle 13,20 menù fisso, quindi tutto pronto. Antipasto abbondante tra cui alcune portate gradevoli, escludendo i fritti. Finalmente alle 15,00 ci hanno portato i primi orribili che abbiamo restituito e abbiamo chiesto i secondi altrettanto orribili, Il personale molto cortese come pure la titolare, una signora molto gentile.
Given the good reviews of others, evidently we were unlucky today. First flaw that I do not specify at the entrance. The place was very crowded. We sat down at 1.20 pm set menu, so everything was ready. Plentiful appetizer including some pleasant courses, excluding fried foods. Finally at 15.00 they brought us the horrible first courses that we returned and we asked for the equally horrible second courses. The staff very courteous as well as the owner, a very nice lady.
