Stato generale degli immobili e degli esterni ancora migliorabile, con grande potenziale. Tre stelle perché se li confronto con altre strutture questa deve ancora curare i dettagli. Ma ha anche il fascino della storia. Lo consiglio. Possibile che possa ritornarci in futuro. Place set in the hinterland. Nice views. You eat very well, even your own wine. Antipasti buoni, il primo ricotta funghi e maggiorana del tutto slegato, quello col ragù di cinghiale con rosmarino che copre tutti i sapori, l'involtino per secondo immangiabile. Appena arrivati per festeggiare un compleanno non siamo stati accolti da nessuno. Dopo 10 minuti di attesa è venuto il cameriere ad indicarci il tavolo che avevano prenotato. Tavolo posizionato vicino la porta, che aprendosi lasciava entrare il vento freddo, quindi immaginate la gente che uscendo per andare a fumare talvolta lasciava anche la porta aperta, costringendoci ad interrompere il pasto per andarla a chiudere. Le pizze basic erano decenti, per quanto riguarda le richieste, la maggior parte degli ingrediente che erano sul menù risultavano assenti. Adesso andiamo al pezzo forte della serata, cioè il dolce. Una volta ordinata la fatidica panna cotta, dopo non tanto ci arriva questo pezzo di mattone congelato, con della glassa di cioccolato messa sopra. Veramente disumano. Nota carina della serata, l'intrattenimento che tendeva a far divertire i miei parenti. Non consigliato per persone dai 40 anni in giù sostanzialmente, dato che le canzoni variavano tra lisci e balli di gruppo. I muri in pietra vera non artificiali, hai la possibilità di rivivere emozioni dei borghi antichi di una volta. Sala ristorante interna grande e spaziosa che ben si presta alle serate danzanti del sabato sera. D'estate invece viene montato un soppalco di legno dove si può ballare ed intorno ci sono i tavoli. Il sabato fanno il giro pizza, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo e la pizza è veramente buona. Il menù fisso tipico è abbondante e altrettanto buono. L'acqua non è quella in bottiglia comparata ma viene riempita al momento nelle brocche di vetro, non ricordo da quale sorgente provenga ma è veramente speciale. Vino autoctono prodotto da loro. Nel retro c'è una piscina e un prato dove potersi rilassare e prendere il sole. Inoltre la proprietaria è un appassionata di erbe officinali delle quali estrae olii essenziali acquistabili in loco. Ho avuto la fortuna di assistere alla distillazione con l'alambicco e a fine giornata mi hanno regalato una boccetta con l'olio appena estratto. Un esperienza che non dimenticherò mai. I was lucky enough to attend the distillation with the alembic and at the end of the day they gave me a bottle with the freshly extracted oil. An experience I will never forget.
