You have to take care if you have a low car. Road is macadam. Hosts are friendly and speak only Italian

β β β β β The food was terrible. Greasy short ribs, cold and lumpy polenta. No first course, just antipasti salad and meat. Paid 25 euro for one!

β β β β β Although this is one of the lesser expensive places to stay in Belluno, it ranks among the best. The service is superb, the landscape peaceful, the food incredible, and the rooms have an unbeatable view of the mountains to the east. I can't recommend Al Bachero enough. We deeply enjoyed every moment of our stay here. Thank you for being such kind and patient hosts.

β β β β β Lovely place - very warm welcome from a lovely lady and family. We had spacious, comfortable, modern room facing northwest with terrific views of Belluno and the mountains. Impeccably clean and well maintained.
Great, home made food - we ate breakfasts and dinner both nights we were here - brilliant traditional food and more than we could eat.
A bit out of town - fine if you have a car but if not then maybe better to stay closer.
Very highly recommended.
