★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place promoting Italian local products in an elegant way. Worth a visit. Some complaining about prices? So be it, this is the price you pay for such a pretty location, presentation and such. Like very few other venues this is one that can be easily exported abroad and there're not many Italian stores that could do the same, despite Italy ?? being at the top when it comes to food. I really welcome the higher price, as excellence should be encouraged

This is my favourite shop in the world. I just go in and take time to soak the visual and olfactory splendour of the somewhat small space.
Then it's time to see the ham being cut on the traditional bacon slicer. The skill involved in creating a work of art that is the prosciutto is absorbing to watch.
And trying to choose which ham and which cheese to buy is impossible, so I take the advise of the charming and ultra-efficient staff most of the time.
Then it's time to picnic at refractory tables outside under the canvass shades with the fresh bread, ham, cheese and wine as it's impossible to wait until meal time. I've broken bread with many strangers and shared some great times with on the benches outside. I can't put in words how much I love coming here.
