Very beautiful and calm campsite. We (a young couple) wanted to stay for 2-3 nights and ended up staying six nights until the end of our vacation. The first two days we even just stayed at the campsite, as it is that calm and beautiful. There are amazing typical tuscany views. Just wonderful. Even in August when we have been there it was really calm and relaxed and not many people around. It is not at all a place for partying or entertainment stuff. It it quiteness, nature and peace. Showers and toilets are basic but totally alright. There even is a freezer, which we used to freeze water bottles so that we could have an improvised fridge at our tent even. Tables and chairs are just standing around free to use and we could built our own small camp even tough we only came with a small tent. Carlo the owner is one of the nicest persons in the world and we both still hope that he will adopt us as his grandchildren. Using bits of English, French and Italian communication somehow worked. Especially since Carlo is extremely nice, easy going and willing to help. After a steep ten minute walk one gets to Guardistallo. Guardistallo is a village that is really beautiful. It has a good bakery, a very good Pizzeria, some other restaurants, a post office, a pharmacy, some food shops and a nice cafΓ© where we had a capuccino each morning after buying fresh bread. Also there are only a few tourists and mainly older italian people. After a twenty minute drive one can get to the beach. In an hour even to the Baratti beach that is super beautiful. What you should consider that on this campsite a car is really good to have, as you need to drive to the beach. Also in summer there are quite a lot mosquitos at the campsite. This however can only be a very small negative point. All in all the place is nothing but a jewel. Especially at the really busy cost of Italy in summer such a place seems like a small miracle. Carlo: Thank you so much for the great time. We are definetly comming back to see you again and rest! Laura and Jesse

A truly wonderful campsite with stunning views of the Tuscan hills. Carlo the owner is extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. On a cycle tour we arrived later than expected (due to the hills!) and he even drove us to a local restaurant so that we had some food! A really exceptional experience, I would highly recommend staying here!

We found this camping by accident and were planning to stay there for 3 nights. Eventually we stayed our full holiday of 10 days on this campsite. The camping has all the basics you need, but what makes it special is the quietness, the beautiful scenery (nature) and location and the warm and friendly contact with owner Carlo. We wish you the best for the future and thank you for your great hospitality.

The campsite has the most wonderful view you can imagine. Unfortunately it stops there. The facilities are non-existent and the hygiene is horrible. The toilet/shower (if you can call it that) are the most run-down and filthy you have ever seen. The dishwash area has food-rests from many many days (weeks) before. The owner Carlo appears to be the goodnatured old man that people describe but this is far from the truth. When challenged by fellow campers on the lack of cleaning he got extremely upset and kept shouting β€˜offenda’ β€˜offenda’. He is however very good with Social media and I even spot reviews here from people that were supposedly there when we were also there..except I am pretty sure they were not.. these are the people that give him a very high score. Those people who give him a low score can expect a response that make them seem silly or crazy. I am sure I will also get a comment back that makes me seem silly: how I should be grateful for the view and the quiet suroundings.. and yes, it has all that, but when going to the toilet becomes an extreme chore your holiday is not what it is supposed to be, especially during the COVID period. So please do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. It is simply not worth it. Addition after the comments from the owner below: wauw, you totally fabricated that whole story and also claim I have psychoses due to COVID. You really show your true colours, just as you did when we visited.

On this small and quiet camping, you have a beautiful view of the valley. The owner Carlo is great! Friendly, helpful and he is available to the guests every day in a relaxed way. There are ostriches at the front of the camping, ducks in a pond, a cat of the owner and sometimes you can hear wild boars in the bushes (which are fenced ;). The toilets and showers are functional, no luxury here. I didn't mind and the water was hot during a shower. I enjoyed my stay very much!

We stayed two nights here and we recommend Carlo's agricampeggio to 100%! The camping is perfectly situated to discover the beautiful Tuscany. There is complete silence on the campsite and you can only hear some noise of the resident animals. The camping spots are very large and every spot is separately equipped with drinkable water and electricity. Warm showers are free of charge. For us this was the perfect place to escape from our stressful everyday life. 500 meters from the camping there is also a lovely village with some restaurants. Finally, we have to say that the owner, Carlo, is a wonderful person! He welcomed us warmly and later he showed us parts of his ostrich farm and the beautiful view from his house of the nature and the hills of the Tuscany. I hope that we can come back soon! Grazie mille Carlo!

One of the best camping sites you can find. We arrived there 3 girls for 4 nights and we cannot get over discovering this camping site. first of all, the amazing Tuscan view is breath-taking and it is quite amazing waking up or having a glass of wine in the evening to this view. Really the best view. The camping site is small (but still spacious enough) which means it is very cozy and quiet. There are nice animals like ostriches (within a designated area) and ducks swimming in a small lake, creating a very peaceful atmosphere. We found all what we needed- bathrooms and shower, dish washing/sinks area. Tables and chairs for each camping place. It is located right near a cute village called guardistallo, which has very nice restaurants, mini market, bars. There is even a direct path from the camping site to get there by foot. The area is very safe. Last but most important, the host Carlo is very sweet and warm-hearted. He was willing to help with anything we needed, to give recommendations and was generally very chill about everything. Every time we saw him he first asked if he can help us or if we need anything. We even bought a bottle of exquisite olive oil made there that has a good price relatively to what you can get in the nearby touristic villages. We appreciate everything so so much and will for sure come back soon.
