Prices are a little bit lower than outside but not too much.
Busy on the cashier so allow yourself time if you are planning to purchase here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was totally rude and slow. If you go to terminal 1, there are two Aelia Duty Free, the one is located near the entrance check, and the other one located near the gates. Just go to the Aelia near the flight gates, it is clearly less hectic.
However, I'm not suggesting you to buy there. Very hectic, the staff was rude , and not helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately had a very frustrating experience at this duty free in rome. I was shown a new perfume by D&G which I really liked and was talked into buying it. Anyhow, the problem is that they sold me the WRONG perfume - the lady who worked there simply gave me the wrong package and I only noticed it when I unpacked it in Germany. Now I have a perfume which I didn’t intend to buy that doesn’t even smell nice and no option in returning it. I spent 75€ on it. This is unacceptable and a total rip off. There is no way of contacting them directly of course or proving this happened.
