★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono entrata perché sto cercando un anello che a Parigi (città dove vivo) purtroppo è out of stock. All’interno del negozio vi erano due sales assistants prese con le loro chiacchiere che non si sono preoccupate nemmeno di salutarmi . Ho fatto un giro in attesa che almeno una delle due si degnasse di accogliermi (seppur in ritardo) ma nulla. Al che ho temporeggiato ferma sull’ingresso sperando che vedendomi lì , evidentemente in attesa , interrompessero la loro conversazione per svolgere semplicemente ciò per cui vengono pagate . Ma anche lì ignorata completamente . A quel punto sono uscita , sinceramente molto delusa da una “non-accoglienza” del genere . Evidentemente abituata agli standards di Parigi , sono estremamente sbalordita da un comportamento del genere .
I entered because I am looking for a ring that in Paris (the city where I live) is unfortunately out of stock. Inside the shop there were two sales assistants engaged with their chatter who didn't even bother to say hello. I walked around waiting for at least one of the two to deign to welcome me (albeit late) but nothing. At which I stalled at the entrance hoping that seeing me there, evidently waiting, they would interrupt their conversation to simply do what they are paid for. But even there completely ignored. At that point I left, frankly very disappointed by such a "non-welcome". Evidently used to Paris standards, I am extremely stunned by such behavior.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I entered the store the morning of the 25th & the employee didn't bother to even say hello, granted she was helping another customer. Even a warm gesture, or some expression to let us know we would be attended to would've been kind. I felt racially profiled by her, and ignored due to my skin tone.
