★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pochi lo notano, ancora meno forse lo sanno, ma a pochi metri di distanza dalla bellissima porta di sant'Agostino sorge quello che è l'acquedotto di Bergamo costruito nella seconda metà dell'800.
Un cartello informativo invita i più attenti alla lettura e le poche informazioni presenti aiutano comunque a conoscere qualcosa di questa struttura tanto invisibile quanto indispensabile per gli abitanti di Bergamo.
L'acquedotto riceve le acque sia dalla val Seriana che dalla val Brembana. Dalla prima arrivano dalla sorgente di Ponte Nossa e dal ponte del Costone: un lungo viaggio che attraversa tutta la valle fino ad arrivare ad alimentare il serbatoio dell'acquedotto.
Interessante poter visitare anche opere essenziali come questa, per capire e conoscere sempre di più la complessità ed il lavoro che sta dietro anche alle cose più semplici, quelle che tutti noi spesso diamo quasi per scontate.
