Beautiful. Walk the inland route or take the boat. Don't make our mistake and walk the coastal 'track'. Very scary cliffs, and the tracks were steep

We hiked from Santa Margherita Ligure to San Fruttuoso on a sunny but not too hot day. Wonderful walk, it took us almost 4 hours and the level is medium. We took a ferry to come back, which is the only way to get here (beside hiking). The beach itself is small and therefore often overcroweded, but the place is beautiful and the water very clean. Entry to the Abbey costs 5€.

very pretty but also unexpectedly crowded. the sea is fine but very much confined in a steict space. you can arrive ONLY by boat or by walking your way for 1h+. the scenery while walking is spectacular but the trekking may be very engaging for some.

Very nice beach! We took the earliest boat here from Rapallo at 9 am and hired sun beds for the day! I would recommend to get here early as it gets busy during the day and the beach is not very big. A few good places to eat and was not too expensive.

Lovely little port. Not many places to eat though. We went on Easter so the restaurants were fully booked. Da Giovanni have a bar though from where you can have a Focaccia amongst other things.

It is a magical place. With the boat you can admire the Liguria coast; bring your swimming stuff because there is a tiny beach where you can enjoy the sun and you swim too ?️??☀️??

Situated in a secluded bay on a rocky outcrop, it is only accessible via a strenuous hike (high levels of fitness and mobility required) or from one of the many and frequently scheduled boats from near by towns. The Abbey is not an essential visit (I wouldn't recommend paying the €8 museum entry fee). The pebble beach and crystal clear water makes for an excellent day trip. There are also several bars and restaurants in the small bay. It does get very busy at peak times weekends etc so do not expect much solitude.

Great place to visit but only accessible by ferry boat or a trail from a parking area. Don’t know how long the hike in or out is because we took the ferry from Camogli, which took 30 minutes. Makes for beautiful photos and there’s a nice restaurant right on 1 of the beaches.
