Traghetto un po' affollato, ma è normale su questa tratta. Peccato per gli orari delle tratte che finiscono abbastanza presto.
A little crowded ferry, but this is normal on this route. Too bad for the timetables of the routes that end quite early.

19 euro Camogli s fruttuoso Portofino e ritorno. Il parcheggio è carissimo, la spiaggia nn si può accedere cn zaino e telo se nn hai il biglietto della proloco stai sotto un edificio coi bagagli in attesa si liberi qualcosa. Acqua nella media, nn ci tornerei.
19 euros Camogli s fruitful Portofino and back. The parking is very expensive, the beach cannot be accessed with a backpack and towel if you don't have a ticket for the proloco you are under a building with luggage waiting to free something. Average water, I wouldn't go back.

Traumhafte kleine Bucht. Hin wandern von Paraggi! Zurück mit dem Boot ist super. Sehr freundliches Personal.
Fantastic little bay. Hike there from Paraggi! Back by boat is great. Very friendly staff.

Beware of limited boat traffic in winter! We walked 3 hours from Portofino with the information that we could take the ferry back. We were told on site that there is no ferry to Portofino today! Since it was already late we had to order a boat taxi to Portofino, which cost 100 €. It would be nice if you could find out beforehand on the internet a timetable according to which the ferry should also have gone to Portofino.

Great beach with awesome views to the Ligurian Sea. In addition to swimming or eating in the restaurants, one can also visit the Abbey or go hiking. San Fruttuoso is accessible by boat from Portofino or Genova. From Genova, it is a trip that takes around 1.5 hrs along the Italian coast.

Accessible only by hiking or by boat, this marvellous cove is the Italian Riviera at its best. We spent a day here swimming and exploring in the sun. We took a packed lunch but there are plenty of places to eat and drink, including a restaurant halfway up a hill and one at a neighbouring cove around the corner from the main beach. There’s also a sunken statue of Jesus a little way out into the cove. If google earth is to be believed the Christ of the Abyss lies about 200m out of the cove beneath a mooring place for small boats. It’s 8m tall and situated in 17m of water. We didn’t see it for ourselves because we were too scared to swim out from the beach. We were also wary of hiring paddleboards or kayaks (both available for 8 Euros per hour on the beach) because the waves looked quite rough on the rocky edges of the cove. We did see other people take both routes out there although whether or they saw it, we don’t know. Instead, we swam on the beautiful pebbly beach and snorkelled to watch the gleaming fishes that mingle with human swimmers in the cove.
