★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great week spent at this wonderfully relaxing venue overlooking the val d'orcia, as part of a Speak language programme which gives Italians an immersive english course# from which they appeared to benefit greatly. Friendly atmosphere, great surroundings and good food, as well as an abbey which is a cultural treasure trove.....what more could you ask for?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed a week at the abbazia in August, when I took part in a Speak in Italy English language immersion programme. This was a brilliantly-organised programme in a fantastic, peaceful location. It is an ideal location for such a programme : extensive grounds for 1-1 walks, many communal rooms with comfortable seating, a nice herb garden...We had excellent meals with great seasonal vegetables and salads, served by friendly staff. An amazing experience.
