Mi dicono che la pizza sia molto buona, andateci, ma sappiate che la prenotazione non serve.
Prenotiamo alle 21, arriviamo alle 21, il tavolo non c'è. Ci sta, è domenica sera, ci sarà da attendere un po' - un po', perché se ho prenotato... -
Chiedo di quanto tempo stiamo parlando, tanto per avere un'idea se farmi un aperitivo da un'altra parte e poi tornare. "Un attimo". Chiedo al cameriere di definire "un attimo" e mi dice "il tempo che qualcuno si alzi". Dalla mia posizione vedo più o meno tutti i tavoli e nessuno sta mangiando: prevedo "un attimo" lungo. Decidiamo di attendere ma, qualche secondo dopo la nostra decisione, la cameriera ci invita ad attendere fuori (sì, le norme COVID, lo so) dicendoci che ci chiamerà lei quando si sarebbe liberato il tavolo (che avevamo prenotato per le 21, giusto per non perdere il focus sulla ragione della recensione).
Fuori piove e ci sono 3 gradi. Magari un invito ad un aperitivo, visto che la conferma dell'orario ce l'hanno data loro e non ci siamo presentati noi così, per caso, avrebbe ovviato un po' alla frustrazione di non avere il tavolo prenotato, di dover attendere fuori al freddo e di avere pure fame, perché alle 21 a uno un po' di famina gli viene.
25 minuti dopo ce ne siamo andati da un'altra parte dove abbiamo mangiato decisamente bene, forse non bene come in questo locale ma non credo lo saprò mai.
A volte basta poco, basta veramente poco.

We book at 9 pm, we arrive at 9 pm, the table is not there. There is, it's Sunday evening, we will have to wait a little - a little, because if I have booked ... -
I ask how long we are talking about, just to get an idea whether to have an aperitif somewhere else and then come back. "A moment". I ask the waiter to define "a moment" and he tells me "the time for someone to get up". From my position I see more or less all the tables and no one is eating: I foresee a long "moment". We decide to wait but, a few seconds after our decision, the waitress invites us to wait outside (yes, the COVID rules, I know) telling us that she will call us when the table is free (which we had reserved for 21, just to do not lose focus on the reason for the review).
It's raining outside and it's 3 degrees. Maybe an invitation to an aperitif, since they gave us the confirmation of the time and we didn't show up so, by chance, it would have alleviated the frustration of not having the table booked, of having to wait outside at the cold and also being hungry, because at 9 pm he gets a bit of a famina.
25 minutes later we left and went somewhere else where we ate very well, maybe not as good as in this place but I don't think I'll ever know.
Sometimes it takes a little, it takes very little.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una delle mie Pizzerie preferite, oltre ad essere un locale esteticamente molto bello e accogliente trovo il personale molto cordiale.
Inutile dire che la pizza è ottima, con un impasto che risulta leggero e dalla crosta morbida, ma croccante al punto giusto, proprio come la preferisco.
Da mia abitudine è ordinare sempre le patatine viola fritte, dal gusto delicato, e le Pettoline che sono altrettanto buone, un pò croccanti all'esterno ma morbide all'interno.
Se scegliete di dare una possibilità a questa Pizzeria, ricordatevi di chiamare per prenotare un tavolo, perché quasi sempre pieno!
One of my favorite Pizzerias, besides being an aesthetically very nice and welcoming place, I find the staff very friendly.
Needless to say, the pizza is excellent, with a dough that is light and with a soft crust, but crunchy at the right point, just like I prefer it.
My habit is always to order the purple fries, with a delicate taste, and the Pettoline which are just as good, a little crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside.
If you choose to give this Pizzeria a chance, remember to call to book a table, as it is almost always full!

We had to wait for the table, even though we had reservations, no one informed us from the beginning about the lack of some dishes on the menu and half of my friends wanted to take them, the waitre didn't listen to what we told him at all, my friend is lactose free and he offers her a pizza with a bufala. They did not agree to change the cheese in any pizza for lactose-free, they confused the drinks we ordered, they did not have wine included in menu, neither the types nor the price, they could not explain to us what they could offer, at the end we waited very long for our order. Not English friendly, they don't have English card, and the staff don't speak English. Very good pizza, but...
