Progettato dall'ing. Gino Zani, inviato a Reggio all'indomani del sisma per seguire le fasi della ricostruzione, costituisce parte importante della nuova "palazzina" a mare, cioè il fronte continuo di edifici con affaccio verso la costa. La nuova palazzina, a differenza di quella precedente, fu costruita arretrata dalla linea costiera per meglio proteggerla in caso di futuri eventi sismici.
Oggi ospita parte della facoltà di Giurisprudenza dell'Università Mediterranea, uffici dell'Archivio Notarile, e parte dell'Agenzia delle Entrate.
A wonderful example of the neo-liberty architecture of Reggio during the post-earthquake reconstruction of 1908.
Designed by Ing. Gino Zani, sent to Reggio in the aftermath of the earthquake to follow the reconstruction phases, constitutes an important part of the new "palazzina" at the sea, that is the continuous front of buildings facing the coast. The new building, unlike the previous one, was built back from the coastline to better protect it in case of future seismic events.
Today it houses part of the Faculty of Jurisprudence of the Mediterranean University, offices of the Notarial Archive, and part of the Revenue Agency.

Dovrebbe essere l'incontro fra la conoscenza (professori e professoresse) e le nuove menti ed invece ci sono soltanto tante targhette con i loro bei nomi stampati sopra e le loro poltrone brillanti come appena uscite dalla fabbrica
Aesthetically nice and clean, lots of offices inside ... but all empty. It should be the meeting between knowledge (professors and professors) and the new minds and instead there are only so many nameplates with their beautiful names printed on them and their bright armchairs as soon as they came out of the factory

Per Calabria e Sicilia, ha beneficiato del notevole ed efficace intervento di restauro, che ha riguardato quasi tutti i palazzi di via Vittorio Emanuele lll, parallela al lungomare.
Gli effetti sono evidenti per chi é passato da qui pochi anni fa.
Il risultato completa la bellezza del lungomare e arricchisce la cittá.
This beautiful example of neo-liberty architecture, which houses the technical sector of the interregional supervisory board of the OO.PP.
For Calabria and Sicily, it benefited from the remarkable and effective restoration work, which involved almost all the buildings in via Vittorio Emanuele lll, parallel to the seafront.
The effects are evident for those who passed through here a few years ago.
The result completes the beauty of the waterfront and enriches the city.
