★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to taste the commune of Kaltern's wines. Tasting is very reasonbly priced at 0.50€ per glass and bottles range from 6€ to 50€. The staff is very friendly and happy to introduce you to their wine region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ended up here because several of the wineries we tried were closed (note, they seem to close at 1 on Saturdays). We wanted to taste some local flavors of wine, and we did. There are a number of varieties you can tastes for .50€ a pour, which you don't have to pay if you buy a bottle of what you tasted. If you're a non-German speaker be prepared to be dismissed, on the polite side, and treated rudely, on the other side. On the up side, the building is beautiful building as is the lounge area and there is a nice store with locally made sauces, cheeses and cured meats .

Every wine glass for tasting is 1€ . But when you purchase a few bottles, the tasting price is not credited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an excellent experience here and honestly had the best help. The nice woman had us try so much wine we bought so much and have no room for our luggage! She took some time and started showing us the wine from another small producer. Then you can shop for snacks and enjoy them there in the relaxing setting. It was a very nice experience!!
