★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Erst mal ist Castel Sallegg eine sehr schöne Burg bzw. Schloss mitten in Kaltern. Zinnen, Erker, Türmchen, hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Zum zweiten produzieren die auch sehr gute Weine. Wenn das große Tor offen ist, dann ist in der Regel auch die Vinothek geöffnet. Der Innenhof ist sehr groß, als Kunde darf man da parken. Wir haben da ein paar Flaschen eingekauft.
First of all, Castel Sallegg is a very beautiful castle in the middle of Kaltern. Battlements, bay windows, turrets, I liked it very much. Second, they also produce very good wines. When the big gate is open, the vinotheque is usually also open. The inner courtyard is very large, as a customer you can park there. We bought a few bottles there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A 10 minute walk up the hill from the Kaltern parking lot, this winery is located in a beautiful chateau with a lovely courtyard to sit and enjoy the local wines such as Lagrein. Great place to sample and purchase the local wines on the ‘wine road’
