This is a brilliant business. The space and decor is comfortable and soothing, the staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and also expert in their knowledge and ability. They really look out for your well being. I've been their client for seven years now and what I especially like is that every time I go, Rosaria and Fabio and their staff treat me with the kind of attention that you would expect as a new client, but also as an old friend.

Loved this salon so much. Received a heavenly shampoo and scalp massage, a perfect haircut and blowout. Great energy, great music and such friendly staff! I left with advise on where to go in the city and the best haircut of my life! Run don't walk.

After having lived in New York for 8 years, I'm super-fussy about my pedicures in Italy. But Wave is consistently awesome. Like everyone else here, Federica takes her time, pays careful attention, and really cares about her customers. Given that this is central Florence, the pricing / value for money is very fair.

Hi ladies! I came over to Florence to study and wasn't planning on doing anything to my hair, but of course I had the sudden urge to change things up after a month of being here. I was looking into places to get my hair done, but the problem is I am VERY particular about my hair. I searched around on the web and read some blogs recommending this spot and tried it out. I wanted to get bangs which was one of the more terrifying things I've done because I haven't had those since I was a child, but as soon as I stepped into this salon I was greeted by the incredibly friendly staff. Fabio styled and cut my curtain bangs and helped my damaged hair. At first I wasn't wanting to fully commit to the shorter bangs, but the next day woke up wanting to chop more off and thankfully they were able to book the next availability with Fabio and cut them even more. They wouldn't let me pay for the second appointment because they said it was most important for me to feel satisfied with my hair cut. I've already recommended this salon to others in my program and would recommend anyone that's looking for a salon in Firenze to check this place out.

I had the most amazing experience at wave. Allesandra and the entire team were so caring and attentive. I got a super cool hair colour and I am really happy with the results. I’ll definitely be back! It’s a shame I can’t leave 6 stars. ❤️

A great hair salon in the heart of Florence’s trendy district. As a first time customer I found the staff to be very professional, from Debora at the reception desk to Filippo who shampooed my hair and gave me several tips on how to maintain healthy hair in the long term. The interior was clean, bright and stylish. I lastly have to give a huge credit to Rosaria who is both kind in person and extremely talented as a hairdresser. Grazie mille!

Update: while my original review was a 4, I am having to change my review to a 2. After living with my haircut for a few hours and trying to style it, I’ve noticed a large section of hair was cut much too short in the front. I didn’t notice this before I left since my hair was styled. I have shoulder length hair and asked for some layers because without them my hair is just flat. There are plenty of layers in the front, but none in the back. Seeing that I paid €85 for the haircut, I am very displeased with the results. I will be reaching out to the business. I want to start by saying that my hair looks and feels AMAZING! As someone who gets a haircut once/twice a year, is very particular about my hair, and has never had a haircut in a foreign country, I felt very comfortable and really enjoyed my experience and the outcome. I decided to go to Wave after seeing a few blog posts from other foreigners going here and raving about their experience. The one thing I didn’t look into was the cost… As a foreigner who is used to everything being included (cut, wash, and style) I wasn’t prepared for the price at the end of my visit. Bottom line, if you are looking for a luxurious experience with a fabulous end result, this is the place for you! Just be prepared for the price (especially for styling since my hair is already flat and I got home 30 minutes ago). I will still recommend Wave to anyone who is looking for a fabulous haircut in Florence! The atmosphere is great, the stylists are amazing, and I really enjoyed my experience overall.
