★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite possibly the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I am a Canadian, travelling through Europe, and my Vodafone Travellers sim card had expired the previous day. The store is supposed to be open on monday, closing at 1pm til 3:30pm. I arrived well before 1pm, but the store was dark, and locked, i figured the staff just left early, no big deal. I returned at 3:30pm , and waited til 3:40 until the staff arrived, no big deal. Inside, when speaking with the employees, I only spoke English, and they only spoke Italian. I pulled up the wifi on my phone (since no data), saw that there was a vodafone wifi account, and asked to be connected so i could use Google translate. The staff refused. i removed my sim card from my phone, and showed it to them, trying to communicate what I was looking to purchase. Mid conversation, one lady just got up and left and started talking on her phone through a bluetooth earphone headset. The other employee, could not have possibly shown less contempt, as she did not even try to help. I left the store, got the old packaging and material from the last Vodafone card I received in Spain, to show what I was looking to buy. The lady told me "we dont sell spanish sim cards" I said "italian sim card" she just shrugged and gave up. I decided to leave at that moment, as this was infuriating to have to deal with staff who clearly couldnt be bothered to help.. I had nothing but good experiences in Portugal and Spain purchasing SIM cards. This was ridiculous. I reccommend that if you need any level of service, drive elsewhere.
