Lorenzo, tuttora aperto al sacro culto. Il corpo centrale, di modeste dimensioni, affianca l’imponente porticato in cui oggi risiedono i proprietari, discendenti della famiglia Schiavo che nel 1834 acquisì la proprietà dall’ultimo erede del ramo della Piarda di Pusterla della famiglia Sesso. All’interno di Villa Sesso Schiavo si possono ammirare affreschi attribuiti a Giovanni Antonio Fasolo e dalla sua bottega, che rappresentano scene incentrate su temi filosofici e culturali. La villa è oggi aperta al pubblico con visite guidate, eventi e attività culturali e accoglie gli ospiti nelle sue stanze, in parte trasformate in bed&breakfast. Commissioned by Silvio Sesso, the Villa was transformed over the centuries by the descendants of the family, who built an oratory dedicated to S. Lorenzo, still open to the sacred cult. The central body, of modest size, joins the imposing arcade where the owners today reside, descendants of the Schiavo family who in 1834 acquired ownership from the last heir of the Piardla di Pusterla branch of the Sesso family. Inside Villa Sesso Schiavo you can admire frescoes attributed to Giovanni Antonio Fasolo and his workshop, which represent scenes focused on philosophical and cultural themes. The villa is now open to the public with guided tours, events and cultural activities and welcomes guests in its rooms, partly transformed into bed & breakfasts.
