Pulito, ordinato, con una splendida vista e tante possibilità di passeggiate ed escursioni senza bisogno di spostare la macchina. Accoglienza gentile e disponibilità!

Ottima posizione, molto tranquilla ma eccellente punto di partenza per molte passeggiate. Ideale per famiglie. La signora è gentilissima e molto molto disponibile!

Proprietari gentilissimi. Appartamento ideale x famiglie. Il silenzio in mezzo alla natura. Eccezionale! L unica difficoltà la stradina per arrivare ma niente di impossibile

Posizione stupenda nella campagna tra Castelrotto e Siusi, vista impagabile sullo Sciliar e sulla Bullaccia, si dorme immersi nel silenzio e nel verde. Appartamento ampio e dotato di tutto il necessario, Christine è gentilissima e disponibile.

Nice 2 person appartement. Very nice family. Beautiful view on the mountain Schlern. No traffic noise. Good WiFi.

We enjoyed our recent stay (Sept 2019) at Villa Schonau. Our hostess, Christine Trocker, was very warm and friendly. Her English was far better than our pidgin German and Italian. We enjoyed meeting her, her children and even her mother. Very clean and modern apartment located midway between Schlern and Kastelrotto. Easily walkable to either village. Interestingly, the meadow next door to Villa Schonau is a paraglider landing area; paragliders were constantly leaping off the cliffs of Seiser Alm and drifting on thermals landing right next to the front door. Very entertaining! Seiser Alm very accessible by bus routes just down the hill from Villa Schonau. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of grocery stores nearby. While we did take some day trips, a couple from Norway rented the upstairs apartment without a vehicle and seemed to manage just fine. The local farmers were busily cutting and harvesting hay while we stayed. Air very fresh and clean (we are city dwellers; we do not take fresh clean air for granted). Was an easy drive from the Bolzano airport car rental to Villa Schonau. Was easy to find using only Google Maps (no in car GPS). This apartment was spacious; bathroom also spacious. Our only complaint was that WiFi was somewhat weak. Only worked in the kitchen/dining room. Was not fast enough to sustain some secure connections we utilize for bill paying back in the US. Note: we used both Apple and Android portable electronics. While not many Americans are guests at Villa Schonau, we would whole heartedly encourage other Americans to strongly consider Villa Schonau. Parking for vehicles was adequate. Three separate ways in and out of Villa Schonau's location. Very quiet; perfect for deep restful sleep. We also used the provided outdoor chaise lounges and picnic table to enjoy wine while watching the paragliders dump air out of their parasails to land in the next door meadow.

Perfect location, beautiful view from balcony. If you want to feel like leaving in the village with goats and sheeps in the garden - it's a perfect match! The owner is very friendly and helpful, apartment clean and well equiped. Highly reccomend!
