★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Villa Santa Maria viene costruita nel 1920 circa da Domenico Gorrieri,importante imprenditore,per la sua famiglia.Chiamata villa Albertina in omaggio alla moglie,viene distrutta e ricostruita dopo la 2°guerra mondiale.Nel dopoguerra viene donata alla chiesa che ne fa un centro per ritiri spirituali.E' degli anni '70 l'ampliamento che le dà questa forma circolare.La posizione è in cima ad uno sperone della vena del gesso,ha un parco e sentieri attorno che portano alla grotta di S.Giuseppe, alla grotta di Lourdes, fino ai ruderi della rocca e alla croce da cui si gode la vista della città di Imola e delle colline vicine.L 'esterno è visitabile tutto l'anno.L'interno solo previo accordo telefonico con il responsabile della casa.
Villa Santa Maria was built around 1920 by Domenico Gorrieri, an important entrepreneur, for his family. Called Villa Albertina as a tribute to his wife, it was destroyed and rebuilt after the 2nd World War. In the post-war period it was donated to the church that made it a center for spiritual retreats. It is from the 70s that the widening gives it this circular shape. The position is on top of a spur of the gypsum vein, it has a park and paths around which lead to the cave of S. Giuseppe, to the cave of Lourdes, up to the ruins of the fortress and the cross from which you can enjoy the view of the city of Imola and the nearby hills. The outside can be visited all year round. The interior is only subject to a telephone agreement with the manager of the house.
