★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely worth the detour. The mosaics are so impressively beautiful you would almost forget to admire the wonderful villa you're walking through. The visit is well organised with plenty of small info panels that give enough basic info. Maybe a guide could add to the experience, but we enjoyed our walk through visit more than enough as it is. Must visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible place where you can touch the history dating thousands of years ago! The site is organized perfectly and one can get familiar with the historic building step-by-step - from the outside constructions up to the north and south wing of the estate. The place is suitable for family with kids and it is worth driving to the middle of Sicily (almost ;)) The people working here are friendly and kind, ready to help and support with guidance! Thumbs up!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressive villa and historical mosaics yet the organisation of the place leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is pushy and not very helpful, not the best experience compared to other points of interest in Sicily. The villa itself is definitely worth seeing though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice experience, informative and well kept place. Its an ancient villa used during the romans. Beautiful mosaic floors with different pictures which represent cultures and what they used to do in those times. The Roman baths were nice to see and what they used to do to keep the water warm, they had advanced technology for those time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked this place, it's really well-maintained and the tour is logically planned. The villa and its mosaics offer a real insight on how Romans lived their lives around 4th century. I do recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really cool place! Don't think I've ever seen this much mosaic in one place, crazy that their bits outside where you can walk/lie/sit on it are more than we have in most sites in the UK!! Great signposts too, giving good explanations of what each room was and key parts in the scene.
