★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrivare a Villa Lionti è stato per me un viaggio nel viaggio. Quando si è aperto il cancello sono entrata in un piccolo mondo incantato fuori del tempo. Curatissimo il giardino con un affascinante angolo di erbe aromatiche che la proprietaria seleziona e cura personalmente; romantico l'angolo piscina con le sdraio all'ombra degli alberi dove ci è stato servito l'aperitivo; assolutamente in stile gli arredi e tutto il restauro del caseggiato. Pulitissime le camere e molto gentili e premurosi i padroni di casa che ci hanno permesso i godere della nostra privacy pur offrendoci un'atmosfera squisitamente familiare. La villa si è dimostrato un posto strategico per le escursioni sull'Etna, a meno di un'ora abbiamo raggiunto le più belle spiagge della Sicilia meridionale. Villa Lionti è un luogo che raccomando assolutamente.
Getting to Villa Lionti was a journey for me. When the gate opened, I entered a small enchanted world out of time. The well-kept garden with a charming corner of aromatic herbs that the owner selects and personally takes care of; romantic the pool corner with deckchairs in the shade of the trees where the aperitif was served; absolutely in style the furnishings and the whole restoration of the building. The rooms were very clean and the hosts were very kind and attentive, allowing us to enjoy our privacy while offering an exquisitely familiar atmosphere. The villa proved to be a strategic place for excursions to Etna, less than an hour away we reached the most beautiful beaches in southern Sicily. Villa Lionti is a place that I recommend absolutely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da tempo ricercavo la possibilità di ritrovare testimonianze di un trascorso rurale e di immergermi in una atmosfera familiare, pur se rispettosa delle esigenze legate alla privacy, avendo nel contempo la possibilità di fruire delle numerose attrattività dell'area pedomontana etnea. Villa Lionti ha rappresentato tutto ciò. Piacevolissimi sono stati anche i momenti trascorsi a bordo piscina, immerso in una coltre arborea e allietato dai cinquettii, cosi come affascinante è stata la possibilità di usufruire dello spazio biblioteca. Mi auguro di poter tornare presto.
For some time I have been looking for the opportunity to find evidence of a rural past and to immerse myself in a family atmosphere, although respectful of the needs related to privacy, while having the opportunity to enjoy the many attractions of the Etna foothills. Villa Lionti represented all this. The moments spent by the pool were also very pleasant, immersed in an arboreal blanket and cheered by the little boys, just as fascinating was the possibility of using the library space. I hope to be back soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Villa Lionti è un'esperienza unica, semplicemente da "VIVERE", lasciandosi cullare dalla magica atmosfera senza tempo che si respira non appena all'interno dell'antico Baglio in pietra lavica.
Il giardino che la circonda è curatissimo e vanta un angolo dedicato agli aromi tipici della cucina mediterranea selezionati con amore dall'accogliente padrona di casa.
Una splendida vegetazione arborea rende piacevole ombra al relax a bordo piscina. Il restauro della casa madre, dei magazzini e dell'antico palmento ora biblioteca, seppur mirato a mantenere intatta l'originalità dei luoghi, ha dato vita a confortevoli suite/apartment (noi abbiamo occupato la Suite Ulisse) arredate con gusto con mobili d'epoca talvolta originali del luogo e dotate di tutti i servizi necessari per una piacevole e rilassante vacanza.
Che altro dire ? Da ripetere presto !

Villa Lionti is a unique experience, simply to "LIVE", letting yourself be lulled by the magical timeless atmosphere that you breathe as soon as you inside the ancient lava stone Baglio.
The garden that surrounds it is well-kept and boasts a corner dedicated to the typical aromas of Mediterranean cuisine, carefully selected by the welcoming hostess.
A splendid arboreal vegetation provides pleasant shade for relaxing by the pool. The restoration of the main house, the warehouses and the ancient millstone now a library, although aimed at keeping the originality of the places intact, has given life to comfortable suites / apartments (we have occupied the Ulysses Suite) tastefully furnished with furniture. sometimes original of the place and equipped with all the necessary services for a pleasant and relaxing holiday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich war jetzt bereits zum zweiten Mal in diesem wunderbaren Anwesen am Fuße des Ätna. Der wunderbar angelegte und großzügige Garten ist eine Freude für das Auge. Der Pool ist erstaunlich groß und tief, so dass man wirklich ausgiebig schwimmen kann. Die Ferienwohnungen sind sehr hübsch und praktisch mit authentischen sizilianischen Möbeln eingerichtet. Maria Francesca und ihr Team sind außerordentlich hilfsbereit, freundlich und serviceorientiert. Ich habe mich dort unglaublich wohl gefühlt und werde mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.
This is the second time I've been to this wonderful property at the foot of Mount Etna. The wonderfully landscaped and spacious garden is a delight for the eye. The pool is amazingly large and deep, so that you can really swim. The apartments are very nicely and practically furnished with authentic Sicilian furniture. Maria Francesca and her team are extremely helpful, friendly and service-oriented. I felt incredibly comfortable there and I will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historic building (used to an old olive oil factory) Beautiful and quiet garden with large pool. Rooms are very antique. If you are more into comfortable rooms better look for another hotel. Friendly host. Private parking on the property. Close to Catania and the Etna. 30 minutes drive from the airport.

Take the time do to your own research on recommendations provided by the host as it will not turn out to what you expect. Overall, beautiful property but sub-par host. J
