★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Producer of local wine and olive oil. After short tasting we bought the oliva oil from own production and a good Chianti. Very friendly staff, nice views on the wineyards. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just stumbled across the nicest place while out for a mountain drive. We had a very friendly and helpful guide, they were very busy with an upcoming event yet still took the time to help us with a tasting. The wine was delightful, and would recommend this winery to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I are traveling through Tuscany with a campervan. On a website I found that this wine villa allows guests to stay with their camper in the parking area for the night. There are no facilities, but that is no problem for us. It’s an amazing spot with view on the wine and olive yards.
We made a reservation for a wine tasting & tour through the villa. The tour guide was Valentina, she did an amazing job and knew a lot about wine. She speaks several languages and surprisingly also Dutch! I loved the history of the villa and to hear about the several products they make here nowadays. It’s not only wine and olive oil, but also cosmetics and candles.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner today, but the female (!!) owner of the winery and Valentina gave us some great recommendations. It’s a 20 min walk to town. Note that about 300 meters doesn’t have a pedestrian pathway, but there’s enough grass on the roadside to walk on. Not sure how that looks like in summer though with high grass!
I recommend this place if you are looking for a wine tour & tasting. They are doing some construction to expand their hotel availability, it looks so beautiful! I’ll definitely be back some day and stay in the accommodation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday I was attending a wedding at Villa Dianella. The location was beautiful and the food was great. Unfortunately I was not able to taste the wine, but heard a lot of praise. That being said, I have to add that the service by the staff was extremely underwhelming. At the beginning of lunch, our glasses were not filled so when the groom and bride finished their speeches we could not give a toast. Someone had to search for the staff to ask for something to drink. This situation continued and worsened enormously during the afternoon. In the evening, starting from about 6pm, the service crew was obviously hiding from us. Nobody was at the bar. We searched again and found them in the kitchen. We asked politely if someone could come down and prepare drinks for us. They were rolling their eyes at us, one man then came down. He was so unfriendly, I have no words for that. He left immediately after pouring one round. We had to go behind the bar then and prepare our own drinks. For the last hour, him and a waitress reappeared, but not at the bar. They were standing at the end of the room with arms crossed in front of their chest and such annoyed expressions. They were glaring at us the whole time. Many guests were irritated and felt like intruders to this place. We had to leave at 21.40, because they told us abruptly to stop the music and go home. Before we left, I told the two staff members that their behavior during the whole evening had been very irritating. They told me that they were tired and wanted us to leave because they had to start work at 7am. I understand that this is hard work and can be exhausting. But this is not the fault of the guests and the couple who chose this place to celebrate the greatest day of their lives.
