★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing place. Hidden gem of Rome, beautiful views and the archaeological site is incredible - lots of information, well laid out. Also very quiet - I was pretty much the only person there! Definitely recommend a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went today...bus stops right in front of the entrance...we were only 2 of 3 people who were there in the morning...what an amazing experience without the crowds..being able to walk freely through all that history...a must see on the Rome list!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While visiting the entire Via Appia Antica will give you some positive and negative feedback ( like Cecilia Metella ticket ... LOL) the visit in Villa Quintili is really worth it ! As i wrote somewhere else i suggest you to buy VIA APPIA ANTICA card which will grant you access even in this site ! The villa itself is fascinating, a nice walk within history and ruins/marbles! there is even a small museum with some statues and various artifacts ! Little note, if you go there in the middle of the sun bring a hat and water ! there is no shade where to recover from the sun !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the highlights from our trip. We rented bicycles an rode on the apian way. When we stopped here we were the only tourists there so we could wonder every corner and take awesome pics. Definately the place to go if you dont like the crowded sights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ April 2022 - Have to buy tickets before getting to the Villa. They don’t sell tickets there and they don’t speak English, and told me to buy it online or go across to town. The online option didn’t work for me, and the “Blanca Villa” that they told me to find across the street was nowhere to be found.
Oh well, found a wonderful restaurant across the street and had an excellent meal before heading back to my place near central Rome.
