Wonderful place within walking distance of home. Amazing exterior not to mention the interior. The owner is very kind, available with immense courtesy and makes you feel at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esperienza poco piacevole. Location bellissima e struttura ben tenuta ma totale assenza di personale. Check-in solo dalle 16.00 alle 19.00. Se non arrivi all'orario comunicato non trovi nessuno, al momento del check-out lasci le chiavi in un cesto e ti chiudi la porta alle spalle. Il bagno non era pulito. Tra le cose predisposte per la colazione abbiamo trovato un prodotto scaduto. Insomma, il servizio non rende giustizia alla bellezza del posto.
Unpleasant experience. Beautiful location and well-kept structure but total absence of staff. Check-in only from 16.00 to 19.00. If you do not arrive at the communicated time you cannot find anyone, at the time of check-out you leave the keys in a basket and close the door behind you. The bathroom was not clean. Among the things prepared for breakfast we found an expired product. In short, the service does not do justice to the beauty of the place.

Bellissima, restaurata con dovizia di particolari architettonici, storici, con dotazioni di pregio culturale che ne hanno preservato il valore storico, simbolico ed estetico. Il parco è stupendo; la cura del verde costante ed efficace. L'accoglienza è affidata a persone veramente capaci e generose, che sono venute incontro alle nostre molteplici esigenze. Tutta la struttura è organizzata alla perfezione. La dotazione delle camere (ricche di fascino) da letto e di tutti i servizi è impeccabile, e di alto livello.
L'estrema disponibilità e la cortesia dei proprietari, ma anche la loro competenza nel rappresentare lo spirito nobile di questa residenza di altri tempi, mi convincono a tornarci presto. Del resto la struttura e molto facilmente raggiungibile, anche via autostrada (vicinissima).
It was a real pleasure to stay in this splendid Villa. Beautiful, restored with a wealth of architectural and historical details, with equipment of cultural value that have preserved its historical, symbolic and aesthetic value. The park is gorgeous; constant and effective green care. The welcome is entrusted to truly capable and generous people, who have come to meet our multiple needs. The whole structure is perfectly organized. The equipment of the bedrooms (full of charm) and of all the services is impeccable and of a high standard.
The extreme availability and courtesy of the owners, but also their competence in representing the noble spirit of this residence of yesteryear, convince me to return soon. After all, the structure is very easy to reach, even by motorway (very close).

Paraje idílico para sentirse como un noble del siglo XVIII. Instalaciones históricas muy bien restauradas y cuidadas. Algo para repetir, sin duda.
Wonderful stay in a dream place. The owner and staff are very attentive and friendly but at the same time they leave you an impressive freedom and privacy. Idyllic place to feel like an 18th century nobleman. Historical facilities very well restored and maintained. Something to repeat, without a doubt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es un alojamiento cerca de Bolonia, a pocos km, con un encanto especial. Es un lugar lleno de historia y es un lujo poder alojarse en una mansión cómo esta. Es un ambiente tranquilo, íntimo, donde te reciben de manera especial, te enseñan la casa además de contarte su historia, lo que lo hace más interesante. El dueño da mucha independencia y facilidades ante las necesidades que puedas tener. La sensación es como si estuvieras en tu propia casa. La limpieza es buena y se trata de un alojamiento con desayuno. Te dan recomendaciones de una gran variedad de restaurantes de la zona cercanos a la propiedad. Los amaneceres y atardeceres en Villa Contessa Massari son especialmente espectaculares. La mansión ha sido mejorada en muchos aspectos como aislamiento de ventanas, electricidad, etc., pero sin romper su autenticidad y su esencia. Estamos muy agradecidos a Francesco, el dueño, y a su hijo, que fueron muy amables y serviciales. También a Annagiulia que es quien nos atiende habitualmente vía WhatsApp. Tenemos claro que queremos volver en un viaje de vacaciones para poder disfrutar mucho más de la casa y sus jardines. Totalmente recomendable y además admiten mascotas.
It is an accommodation near Bologna, a few km away, with a special charm. It is a place full of history and it is a luxury to be able to stay in a mansion like this. It is a quiet, intimate environment, where you are received in a special way, they show you the house as well as tell you its history, which makes it more interesting. The owner gives a lot of independence and facilities to the needs you may have. The feeling is as if you are in your own home. Cleanliness is good and it is a bed and breakfast. They give you recommendations of a wide variety of restaurants in the area near the property. Sunrises and sunsets at Villa Contessa Massari are especially spectacular. The mansion has been improved in many aspects such as window insulation, electricity, etc., but without breaking its authenticity and its essence. We are very grateful to Francesco, the owner, and his son, who were very kind and helpful. Also to Annagiulia who is the one who usually attends us via WhatsApp. We are clear that we want to return on a vacation trip to be able to enjoy the house and its gardens much more. Totally recommended and they also allow pets.
