Affascinante e pieno di storia. Stupendo anche il parco attorno alla villa. A place that I knew "only by hearsay", and never visited in person. Last minute choice which was really worth it. Fascinating and full of history. The park around the villa is also wonderful.

M	Mauro Vignoli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Villa e parco da non perdere, una visita con tutta la famiglia, un consiglio da vedere con giornate di sole, oltre alla villa molto suggestivo il lago con tanto di isolotto, la limonaia ( restaurata in modo eccellente)..il tutto in un contesto naturalistico molto suggestivo....peccato che al momento sia tutto un poco lasciato al tempo..." mancano fondi" e quindi tutto si sta deteriorando, villa inclusa... Villa and park not to be missed, a visit with the whole family, a tip to see with sunny days, in addition to the very suggestive villa the lake with a lot of islet, the limonaia (excellently restored) .. all in one context naturalistic very suggestive .... pity that at the moment everything is left a little at the time ... "lacking funds" and therefore everything is deteriorating, villa included ...

Da visitare! Beautiful villa of about 1570 with elegant and delicate frescoes you can visit only 2 floors of the 4, the extraordinarily beautiful garden with "dry" lake with 2 islands, majestic and age-old trees. Molto curata , trasmette pace felicità e allegria . E molto viva !!! Siamo stati guidati della direttrice che ha raccontato la storia di questo luogo. Mi ha accattivanto gli affreschi , anche la durezza della cucina ai tempi ma ancora di più il potente e magico cedro , quasi incantato del quale non ho avuto modo di chiedere a quando risale la presenza . Incantata ??? !!! Until a few days ago I was unaware of its existence. I must say that its elegance, its garden struck me a lot. Very well cared for, it conveys peace, happiness and joy. And very much alive !!! We were guided by the director who told the story of this place. I was captivated by the frescoes, even the hardness of the kitchen at the time but even more so by the powerful and magical cedar, almost enchanted of which I have not had the opportunity to ask when its presence dates back. Enchanted ??? !!!

This gorgeous Villa has been renovated recently and will be begin having guided tours led by the state cultural center by April 2018. The interior is beautiful and well preserved. The villa grounds are even better. The trails and gardens are magnicent, yet simple. The villa was built for a cardinal around 500 years ago and hosted many important people throughout the years of its use.
