Avoid at all costs- this was one of the 2 worst hotel stays of my life. This hotel markets itself as 4 star deluxe. I don't know where it gets the 4th star let alone deluxe. The hotel website claims it to be a 10 minute walk from the local station, I defy anyone to do it in less than 20 even without a suitcase. (Fortunately there is a superb cafe/bar called "Monet" en route to have a refresh). When we arrived our room wasn't ready despite arriving after the stated check-in time. We weren't escorted to our room which, I have to say, was adequate with a comfortable bed and a small but adequate shower but then it went downhill. The bathroom was cramped and smelled of drains, there were no fire/evacuation instructions, the smoke detector was broken, the emergency lighting in the room was on constantly, the huge terrace had no table/chairs, we could hear every conversation from and every 'phone call at reception. The bar shuts at 7.30 ( see attached 'photo). Quote from the hotel website "Cozy and comfortable, with a modern design, situated in different places: in the "Villa", in the "Residenza" or in the "Granaio", they fully satisfy those who feel the need for comfort and quiet." We were kept awake, on our 1st night, until the small hours, by thunderous music and fireworks from an adjacent plot and, on our 3rd night, by pounding, moron music from an event in the hotel grounds until 1.00 am despite having complained at 11.45 and 00.20. At breakfast the following morning we spoke to 3 other parties who had been similarly disturbed by the noise. Our deal included one meal but it transpired that this was from a menu which I can only describe as "limited", the first course was either pasta or pasta and the main was either pork chop or sea bass. The hotel claims to have a free shuttle service to the airport but it doesn't so any trip requires either a taxi at one's own expense (some 25 euros each way) or the 20 minute walk to the local station and back. Sorry for the rant but I would advise anyone to think very carefully before booking this hotel.

We paid 50 Euros per night which included breakfast. For the price its excellent accommodation and cant comment on public transport as we drove to this place by car. Hotel is more like a old courtyard or villa, but newly refurbished. Willing to stay again in future.

Booked and paid for a senior suite, without notice were put into a junior suite. Additionally the aircondition was broken, no tea/coffee station as mentioned on the homepage and one light in bathroom broken. We would definitely suggest that the rooms have to be repainted, bathrooms rather of the old kind. BUT, the breakfast was great, free and very secure parking, everyone very kind ans helpful. Same evening the air condition was half way working again and the light in bathroom was fixed. (After twice having to demand a compensation for not being put into the room we had paid for in advance, we received a free stay for the first night! So it ended up being a very good price, but we first had to claim for what we had paid for.

Brilliant staff, really helpful and full of excellent advice and help. We had a great time in Napoli partly down to the advice the hotel staff gave us. The hotel itself is beautiful, I loved it and would gladly stay again and again.

Firstly, the staff cannot be faulted as they go out of their way to help you the best they can. The hotel is well secluded and maintained with a great courtyard and gardens. However, there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. The breakfasts are woeful, especially when guests purposely arrive early and think it's OK to take food and drinks away for their own consumption during day trips out leaving little for those who arrive for breakfast later. The evening meals in the restaurant are very expensive and fairly bland. The bar could do with a better choice of drinks and would benefit from having beer on draught. Frequent events take place including weddings and birthday parties that should also be taken into account if you were wanting a quiet retreat. The hotel is very isolated and should not be considered unless you have a car. There are no bars/restaurants nearby but there is a great Pizza restaurant called Bella Mbriana about 2km away on the main street. Train station is 2.5km away and takes 15 minutes to central Naples. We chose villa Buonanno for its proximity to the Naples airport (10-15min drive) and the main highway connecting Naples with other cities. It was such a pleasant surprise. The place is very secluded with beautiful garden and spacious rooms. The food in the restaurant was delicious, same for breakfast which is included in the price. All the staff were helpful and we will definitely be back if we need to stop over around Naples.

Our friends recommended we go here for a night out but the food was quite disappointing, all 6 dishes. However, the restaurant looks well maintained. Sadly,Food needs an upgrade.
