★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oud en vies. Vuilnis werd niet opgeruimd, stucwerk kwam van de muren. En faciliteiten die beschreven zijn waren niet aanwezig (zeezicht, wifi, tv).
Old and dirty. Garbage was not cleaned up, plaster came off the walls. And facilities that are described were not present (sea, wifi, tv).

Ganske vist er udsigten fra terrassen til 5 stjerner MEN
Værelset er ikke en lejlighed men et mørkt kælderværelse,
kun ét vindue med udsigt til en betonmur.
Halvdelen er faciliteterne er ikke eksisterende.
Bruseren på toilettet gør, at alt skal flyttes ud, før man kan tage et bad.
Indgangen til kælderværelset er ganske mørk med smal trappe.
Hvis du klager og får tilbudt en gratis pizza hos naboen, er du bondefanget
og har ikke mulighed for at tjekke ud!!!
Hold jer langt væk fra dette sted!!!
Be careful - descriptions and pictures are misleading.
Admittedly, the view from the terrace to 5 stars is MEN
The room is not an apartment but a dark basement room,
only one window overlooking a concrete wall.
Half the facilities are non existent.
The shower in the toilet means that everything has to be moved out before you can take a bath.
The entrance to the basement room is quite dark with narrow stairs.
If you complain and are offered a free pizza at your neighbor, you are a farmer
and do not have the option to check out !!!
Stay away from this place !!!

Le camere attrezzate vantano di una bellissima terrazza con vista mare. Inizialmente abbiamo scelto questa location per la disponibilità del posto auto. Ritorneremo sicuramente!
Unforgettable stay! We stayed 2 nights at Villa Athèna, practically everything was impeccable! The owners are very professional and attentive to guests' needs. The equipped rooms boast a beautiful terrace with sea view. We initially chose this location for the availability of the parking space. We will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti nella camera con vista mare. Che dire... perfetta!! Posizione super comoda: funivia a 20 metri, centro di Taormina a nemmeno 5 minuti. Alessio ci ha accolto con molta gentilezza mostrandoci la camera e il parcheggio per la macchina. Camera molto pulita e fresca. Non ci resta che ringraziare e consigliare a voi l'alloggio a Villa Athena.
We stayed 4 nights in the sea view room. What can I say ... perfect !! Super convenient location: cable car at 20 meters, center of Taormina not even 5 minutes away. Alessio welcomed us with great kindness showing us the room and parking for the car. Very clean and fresh room. We just have to thank and recommend to you the accommodation at Villa Athena.
