C. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnifica vallata che diparte dall'abitato di Curon Venosta per arrivare quasi fino ai piedi del ghiacciaio del Palla Bianca, che offre un interminabile sentiero di valle ed un altrettanta suggestiva Alta Via che ne prende il nome, da percorrere in più tratte. Imperdibile!!! Magnificent valley that departs from the town of Curon Venosta to almost reach the foot of the Palla Bianca glacier, which offers an endless valley path and an equally suggestive Alta Via which takes its name, to be covered in several sections. L	Luigi Gravina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partire da Curon, lo storico borgo sommerso con le acque della diga del dopoguerra, se non erro nel ricordo, e percorrere Vallelunga, che termina con il borgo di Melago, da cui si procede verso il ghiacciaio della Palla Bianca, è un'esperienza da fare. Sul fondo valle, il Rio Carlino scorre intenso e a tratti con piccole cascate, per sfociare nel Lago Resia, che raccoglie le acque delle diverse sorgenti e arricchisce l'Adige, l'importante fiume italiano. Starting from Curon, the historic village submerged with the waters of the post-war dam, if I am not mistaken in memory, and going through Vallelunga, which ends with the village of Melago, from which you proceed towards the Palla Bianca glacier, is an experience to to do. Proseguire a piedi fino alla Malga di Melago m.1.970. Poi lungo il sentiero didattico Ghiacciai VALLELUNGA costeggiando il torrente Rio Carlino, fino ad arrivare rifugio Pio Xl con vista mozzafiato sulle montagne e ghiacciai circostanti. Poi siamo ritornati dalla parte opposta sentiero 3 - 2 più veloce e meno impegnativo. Esperienza 8 / 2019. WONDERFUL VALLEY From Curon in the upper Venosta Valley by car to Melago where we find paid parking (coins). Continue on foot to Malga di Melago m.1.970. Then along the VALLELUNGA glaciers educational trail along the Rio Carlino stream, until you reach the Pio Xl refuge with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Then we went back to the opposite side of path 3 - 2 faster and less demanding. Experience 8/2019.
V	Vit Mic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incantevole come sempre anche se quest’anno, dopo che non la vedevo dal 2013, l’ho trovata troppo affollata di turisti. Dopo la prima camminata di mezz’ora si arriva alla malga e da lì si possono fare diverse passeggiate, dalle più difficili a quelle anche adatte a bambini. Lo spettacolo del Pala Bianca con il ghiacciaio è unico e speriamo duri ancora molti anni. Lovely as always even though this year after not seen since 2013, I found it too crowded with tourists. After the first half-hour walk you get to the hut and from there you can make several walks, from the harshest to those also suitable for children. The spectacle of Weißkugel with the glacier is unique and hard hopefully many more years.
V	Ve Ly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo stati la prima volta e siamo rimasti incantati! La valle è bellissima, la strada è molto buona, larga. Si arriva al primo parcheggio,poi tra 2 km c'è un'altro. Si paga 1 euro all'ora,primi 30 Min gratis, 6 euro per tutta la giornata. Per arrivare alla Malga ci sono vari percorsi,uno è facile e adatto per tutti( persone anziane,bimbi piccoli). La malga è piena di gente. Si dice,che si mangia bene. Dopo la malga ci sono vari percorsi per passeggiate,di tutti i livelli di difficoltà. I posti sono meravigliosi! La vista sul ghiacciaio è stupenda. Una esperienza da ripetere sicuramente. We were the first time and we were enchanted! The valley is beautiful, the road is very good, wide. You arrive at the first parking lot, then between 2 km there is another. You pay 1 euro per hour, first 30 min free, 6 euro for the whole day. To get to the Malga there are various routes, one is easy and suitable for everyone (elderly people, small children). The hut is full of people. It is said that we eat well. After the hut there are various paths for walks of all difficulty levels. The seats are wonderful! The view of the glacier is beautiful. An experience to be repeated surely.
