 The sources of Follonica have been restored to their former glory. It's a nice trip into the past.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto meraviglioso a due passi dalla basilica di San Francesco. Tanto verde, tanta pace e tanto relax. Il posto è quasi impossibile da raggiungere: cancelli chiusi, transenne... Eppure merita. Andrebbero creati percorsi alternativi per poter raggiungere la valle di Follonica senza invadere proprietà private e chiedere permessi. La zona è davvero meravigliosa. Andrebbe mantenuta, infatti le acque della fonte sono torbide e la struttura è pericolante.
Wonderful place a stone's throw from the Basilica of San Francesco. So much green, so much peace and so much relaxation. The place is almost impossible to reach: closed gates, barriers ... Yet it deserves. Alternative routes should be created to reach the Follonica valley without invading private properties and asking for permits. The area is really wonderful. It should be maintained, in fact the waters of the source are turbid and the structure is unsafe.
