N	Niccolò Forte on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Qualità top, rispecchia il prezzo che si spende, anche se sia a pranzo come a cena troviamo dei sovrapprezzi su alcune portate ( a pranzo più che a cena ) sarebbe gradevole se aumentasse il numero di portate ordinabili più di un tot di volte. Rimane il miglior all you can eat di Monza e dintorni sia per qualità che per atmosfera: locale curato e moderno. Il servizio cordiale, interessato all'opinione della clientela. Sono sempre uscito soddisfatto dall'umami. Consigliatissimo. (É sempre meglio prenotare per non rischiare di non trovare posto) Top quality, reflects the price that you spend, even if both at lunch and at dinner we find surcharges on some courses (at lunch more than at dinner) it would be pleasant if you increase the number of courses that can be ordered more than a certain number of times. It remains the best all you can eat in Monza and its surroundings both in terms of quality and atmosphere: a refined and modern place. The cordial service, interested in the opinion of the customers. G	Gioele on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il ristorante è molto bello, dentro quasi di lusso con belle poltroncine in velluto e arredato molto bene, carini anche i tavoli all’esterno su strada pedonale/ztl ma separati bene da siepo e piante. Open pranzo con prezzi giusti ma qualità del pesce non ottimale, molto buoni alcuni roll, di meno il sashimi i nigiri e i ravioli. The restaurant is very nice, almost luxurious inside with beautiful velvet armchairs and very well furnished, the tables outside on the pedestrian street / ztl are also nice, but well separated by hedges and plants. Open lunch with fair prices but not optimal fish quality, some very good rolls, less sashimi, nigiri and ravioli.

Ad oggi, è difficile trovare posti come questo, in cui non solo si può mangiare cibo di qualità ma anche si può apprezzare il tocco creativo di chi ama il lavoro che fa. Lista dei vini variegata. Location elegante e camerieri molto attenti alle necessità dei clienti. Scelto menù alla carta ma è presente anche una formula "open". Non assegno la 5a stella solo perchè in fase di prenotazione avevo richiesto un tavolo più appartato (dato che si trattava di occasione speciale) ma la richiesta non è stata soddisfatta. It was a pleasant surprise here in Monza. Bella l'idea del open sushi, un non proprio all-you-can-eat a favore della qualità, modesta ma con idee e piatti molto interessanti: si identifica come fusion, ed in effetti lo è, perché diverso dal solito, i condimenti sono diversi e alcuni piatti sono molto particolari e ricercati come i nara roll con note di tartufo, da provare assolutamente, strabuoni. La tartare è quella che mi è piaciuta di meno, ma non per un discorso di qualità, ma per il tipo di condimento, parlo secondo i miei gusti, nulla da dire sulla qualità. Per il resto assolutamente promosso, personale e servizio ottimi in una bella locatio. I feel like giving it 5 stars. Nice idea of the open sushi, a not exactly all-you-can-eat in favor of quality, modest but with very interesting ideas and dishes: it identifies itself as fusion, and in fact it is, because different from the usual, the condiments they are different and some dishes are very particular and refined like the nara rolls with truffle notes, to try absolutely, very good. The tartare is the one I liked the least, but not for quality reasons, but for the type of seasoning, I speak according to my tastes, nothing to say about the quality. For the rest absolutely promoted, excellent staff and service in a beautiful location.

Premetto che UMAMI è stato il primo ristorante sushi che ho sempre ritenuto sopra la media, già da oltre 4 anni frequentavo regolarmente la struttura di seregno e successivamente la nuova apertura di Monza portando entrambe su un piatto d’argento, ma quello a cui ho assistito questa sera è una vera caduta di stile. Attese infinite, personale scortesissimo e impreparato, continuavano a rimbalzarsi tra colleghi domande sul menu giustificandosi che non seguivano la parte della cucina ed impreparatissimi su consigli e conoscenze del vino presente in casa; gli stessi che però si presentavano al tavolo per le ordinazioni senza dire una parola, segnando il tutto sul palmare senza un minimo accenno a saluto o parola (dopo però diverse richieste di voler ordinare, spesso fermati direttamente dal proprietario indicando il tavolo come in attesa di ordinazione) Nighiri, sashimi e tartare insapore, con porzioni veramente ridicole e minuscole (come visibili in foto). I Roll rimangono però, la colonna portante del locale, con un ottimo gusto e diversissima scelta, ottimi. A dispiacere scrivo questa recensione, dovendo ammettere che ormai questo locale da uno dei migliori in circolazione, è divenuto uno dei tanti mediocri. What a disappointment! I state that UMAMI was the first sushi restaurant that I have always considered above average, for over 4 years I had been regularly attending the structure in seregno and subsequently the new opening in Monza bringing both on a silver platter, but the one I attended this evening is a real fall in style. Endless waits, extremely rude and unprepared staff, kept bouncing between colleagues questions about the menu, justifying that they did not follow the part of the kitchen and were very unprepared for advice and knowledge of the wine in the house; the same ones who, however, showed up at the table for orders without saying a word, marking everything on the handheld without a hint of greeting or word (after several requests to order, often stopped directly by the owner indicating the table as waiting for order) Nighiri, sashimi and tasteless tartare, with truly ridiculous and tiny portions (as shown in the photos). The Rolls remain, however, the backbone of the place, with an excellent taste and very different choice, excellent. To regret I write this review, having to admit that now this place from one of the best around, has become one of many mediocre ones.
