★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fand den Weg total langweilig. Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist,okay oder mit Kinderwagen. Weg zurück nur durch ein Waldgebiet immer Schatten. Keine Einkehr Möglichkeit. Würde den Weg nicht weiterempfehlen.
Found the way totally boring. Who is not good on foot, okay or with a stroller. Walk back only through a forest area always shadows. No retreat option. Would not recommend the way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein 18 km langer Rundwanderweg nach St. Gertraud und zurück mit einigen hundert Metern Höhenunterschied. Mit wunderschönen alten und neuen Bauernhöfen, den 2000 Jahre alten Urlärchen, einem Erholungsort, wo auch Freud Gast war. Insgesamt 5 h 30 min ca. Am besten Mai-Oktober. Wem es zu streng wird kann jederzeit unterbrechen und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zurückfahren.
An 18 km long circular hiking trail to St. Gertraud and back with a few hundred meters difference in altitude. With beautiful old and new farms, the 2000 year old ancient larches, a resort where Freud was also a guest. A total of 5 h 30 min approx. Best May-October. If it gets too tough for you, you can stop at any time and use public transport to return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Höfeweg auf der Sonnenseite des Tales ist ein sehr schön angelegter Wanderweg. Man wandert am besten von St. Gertraud talauswärts und hat einen herrlichen Blick auf die schöne Bergwelt des Tales bis hinunter nach Meran. Zum Rasten bieten sich unterwegs gute Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Ein wirklich schöner Weg,den es lohnt zu gehen. Empfehlenswert.
The Höfeweg on the sunny side of the valley is a very nicely laid out hiking trail. It is best to hike out of the valley from St. Gertraud and have a wonderful view of the beautiful mountains of the valley down to Merano. There are good places to stop for a break on the way to rest. A really nice trail that is worth walking. Recommendable.
