★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Per chi ha dei DUBBI sul permesso di soggiorno e vuole delle informazioni, consiglio di NON provare per TELEFONO, è praticamente inutile, non risponde nessuno. L'unico modo è PRESENTARSI DI PERSONA negli uffici in questura. Purtroppo il personale non è preparato per darti le informazioni basilari (ho fatto la stessa domanda a 3 persone e ho ottenuto risposte contradittorie!). Secondo me basta un servizio telefonico efficiente e informato per eliminare almeno la coda, il casino e lo stress, sia per gli stranieri che per i dipendenti.
Per quanto riguarda la pratica del rinnovo permesso di soggiorno: è BEN ORGANIZZATA e la tempistica è stata relativamente BREVE (consegna alla posta a settembre, le impronti a dicembre e ricevuto il documento rinnovato a febbraio). Per una serie di problemi, non potevo ritirare il documento nella DATA PREFISSATA e il personale è stato disponibile a cambiarmela.
For those who have doubts about the residence permit and want information, I advise NOT to try by PHONE, it is practically useless, nobody answers. The only way is to present yourself in person at the police headquarters. Unfortunately, the staff is not prepared to give you basic information (I asked the same question to 3 people and I got contradictory answers!). In my opinion, an efficient and informed telephone service is enough to eliminate at least the queue, the mess and the stress, both for foreigners and for employees.
As for the practice of renewing the residence permit: it is WELL ORGANIZED and the timing has been relatively SHORT (delivery to the post in September, fingerprints in December and received the document renewed in February). Due to a series of problems, I was unable to collect the document on the PREFIXED DATE and the staff was available to change it.
