★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were strolling along the river banks of the Arno and came across Tuffo13. The best ice cream I have had in years. The owner concocts remarkable and delicious ice creams in his work shop that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Big fan of the balsamic vinegar gelato, it is incredible!! We highly recommend seeking this place out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this place, located just upstream from the Chiesa di Santa Maria della Spina on the south bank of the Arno River, because of my niece’s extraordinary nose for finding gelaterias. All of us enjoyed finding a place which offered such unusual flavors as basmati rice, beer, and peanuts alongside the traditional favorites. But the highlight for all of us was being exposed to the warm, open, humorous personality of the owner, Andrea. He made the everyday experience of purchasing gelato memorable, to the point that we even returned later that same day after dinner. Probably not the best idea for our waistlines, but sometimes you just don't have a choice. Since my wife and I now live in Lucca, we most certainly will be coming back to Pisa in the future to enjoy more of what Tuffo 13 has to offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great ice cream, with special attention to natural ingredients and without any additives. As a special extra you can taste a very tasty beer from a local micro-brewer. Had the “smoky” one which is a real treat. Highly recommended place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home made in small batches and organic. Interesting flavors along with the classics. I had pistachio, stracciatella and birra (that's right, birra. Based on a stout, it was quite good),. Friendly, good humored folks.
Between the leaning tower and the train station, on the Arno - a perfect break spot (you'll need this in the summer).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic service and a diverse selection of homemade gelato flavours! Also great to see organic products being used and a recycling scheme. I was only in Pisa for 12 hours but managed two visits to this wonderful gelateria.

They do have vegan options!!! And the owner speaks English and Spanish, so it's super comfortable to ask any questions
