★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho fatto cromare e nichelare dei componenti per la mia Lambretta C. Risultato in generale buono se non fosse che tutte le viti e i dadi cromati e nichelati appena li tocchi per stringerli salta via tutto il rivestimento. Sotto la nichelatura non si vedeva traccia di ramatura che dovrebbe servire a far aderire meglio il nichel. Altri particolari nichelati che avevo acquistato nuovi non hanno minimamente avuto problemi al montaggio.
I had some components chromed and nickel plated for my Lambretta C. Overall good result except that all the chromed and nickel plated screws and nuts as soon as you touch them to tighten them all the coating jumps off. Under the nickel plating there was no trace of copper plating which should serve to make the nickel adhere better. Other nickel-plated parts that I had bought new did not have any problems with assembly.
