★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serata estiva trascorsa in maniera perfetta. Erano anni che non tornavo da Gian. Tavoli all’aperto nel pieno rispetto regole covid, molto suggestivo il fatto di aver tirato tendoni di lino bianco creando una sorta di soffitto per la calura del mezzogiorno?. Piatti tradizionali. È vero: hanno poche proposte…ma eccezionali! Materia prima sceltissima, sapientemente lavorata per ottenere il meglio sia nei primi piatti che nei secondi. Quantità molto generose, ma davvero (N.b. La foto della carne si riferisce a metà porzione…vedete voi se fosse stata normale?..sarebbero stati almeno due etti di carne!). Se già con i tortelli mi avevano conquistata, la medaglia d’oro va alla tagliata di manzo: non è da 10….è da 11! Mai mangiata carne così tenera e saporita (io mangio senza sale la carne per sentire bene il gusto). Gustosissima e cotta alla brace in maniera perfetta. In accompagnamento vini piacentini delle migliori etichette. Prezzi più onesti di così è difficile trovarli. Qualità, quantità, prezzo e tanta cordialità portano il Gian e la Cris ai primi posti della mia top ten. bravi bravi!!!
Summer evening spent perfectly. It had been years since I went back to Gian. Outdoor tables in full compliance with covid rules, the fact of having drawn white linen awnings is very suggestive, creating a sort of ceiling for the heat of midday?. Traditional dishes. It's true: they have few proposals… but exceptional! Highly selected raw material, expertly processed to obtain the best in both first and second courses. Very generous quantities, but really (N.b. The photo of the meat refers to half a portion ... you see if it had been normal?..it would have been at least two ounces of meat!). If they had already conquered me with the tortelli, the gold medal goes to the cut of beef: it's not 10 ... it's 11! Never eaten meat so tender and tasty (I eat meat without salt to get a good taste). Very tasty and perfectly cooked on the grill. Accompanied by Piacenza wines from the best labels. More honest prices than that are hard to find. Quality, quantity, price and a lot of friendliness bring Gian and Cris to the top of my top ten. good good !!!
