★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanna tell you a short story, gf and I wanted to have dinner somewhere after arriving in this wonderful city.
We arrive at this place and ask for a table for 2, waitress goes to check, so far so good.
Meanwhile another couple came behind us and another waitress started yelling "oooh dear friend of mine! Have you booked? no? it's ok, I always have a table for you" then proceeds to offer them a seat by splitting a table of 4.
Our waitress offered us the other table which was crammed against the fence without any sort of social distancing nor place to actually pull the chair out and sit, when we refused she said she has no other tables even though visibly there were at least 2 others available(but maybe they were booked).
I suppose this is the Italian spirit, where if you're friends you get to jump queues. We left.
