Non vi aspettate un ambiente ricercato o proposte gastronomiche particolari: ambiente tipico e cucina classica. Da provare gli gnocchi e la Gricia. Small trattoria in full Roman style. One of those "once" places reminded me of my childhood. Do not expect a refined environment or particular gastronomic proposals: typical environment and classic cuisine. Try the gnocchi and Gricia.

Cucina romana/casalinga buona e abbondante. Prezzi però alti (30€ a persona per primo e secondo + vino -scadente- della casa). Host a little intrusive, while the lady is very nice. Rustic and Spartan restaurant that remained in the 1970s (this is precisely its charm). Good and plentiful Roman / home cooking. E proprio questo che rende alla taverna un atmosfera simpaticamente romanaccia. I piatti classici della cucina romana Tipo la pajata le animelle l'abbacchio ar forno la frittata de patate de na vorta, sono la vera essenza della nostra cultura romana. Cucinati da 10 e lode. Buoni e abbondanti i tonnarelli con carciofi guanciale, pepe e pecorino e gli straccetti alla rughetta. Di certo tornerò domani e così i prossimi giorni. Ottimo qualità prezzo. Da consigliare a tutti i buongustai. Large room near Piazza della Repubblica. Very nice staff. The tonnarelli with artichokes, bacon, pepper and pecorino cheese and the strips with rocket are good and abundant. I will certainly be back tomorrow and the next few days. Excellent quality price. Recommended for all gourmets.
