★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well-cooked genuine local foods. This restaurant is not easy to find but once seated at the table we can enjoy the wonderful dishes prepared in the kitchen. We chose two really good second courses: braised wild boar with polenta with mushroom sauce and roast beef with baked potatoes, a glass of wine and to finish the plum tart, coffee and the typical liqueur of the place: the Bargnolino, or more commonly in Italian Prunella, is a liqueur with a high alcohol content, obtained from the infusion of wild blackthorn drupes, also called pruno spino, a typical shrub of the Ligurian Apennines. The fruits should be harvested in October. In Piacenza it takes the name of bargnulein. The location is the typical country trattoria restaurant, dated but clean, rustic but functional mise en place, service not really fast but has been able to advise us very well. A great experience!
