★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our airbnb hosts recommended this place, and it was excellent. The outdoors seating area is very cozy, the service was on point and the food was magnificent. The place had a very local vibe which we enjoyed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Donnini were lovely. They had been recommended to us by locals in the area. We were a big film crew that needed feeding at 1430 ( after their closing time!) I really nice young man who spoke very good English took care of us and we really enjoyed our meal. The service was really fast and friendly. The pasta was particularly good. Thank you Donnini for having us!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, when you give the category - restaurant, inn, trattoria, etc - you give also a range of dishes, ambience and prices.
In this case, honestly the place is nice: almost in the countryside, nice rooms and the chance to eat in a comfortable porch during the warm season.
But ... there is an important "but".
As soon as you sit at the table and still reading the menu, a nice woman will come to suggest to you some prelibate dishes out of the menu.
The "outdishes" (let's call them like this) are honestly many and also more peculiar and even more tempting than the dishes written (on the menu).
Surely, it is up to you to decide to taste them or not.
But in any case, their prices are not telled.
Surely you can ask the price of the "outdishes", but as you know, sometimes it is difficult to ask the price. Maybe i am silly, but i feel embarassed to ask price in the middle of other people because, even if it is a right to take care of the money, well... you know how it works in some circumstances.
Today, i asked for a - half portion - of "taglierini with white truffle, to share with my wife. My son asked for a normal pasta with ragù. The cost of the two first dishes was a surprise: 38,00 euro.
My fault, sure.
But very expensive, for sure.
Taking away the pasta for my kid, how much did i pay for a - half - portion ? More than the tagliata steak, for sure.
Please, remind about the "outdishes" because in my opinion is a not nice way to do.
Usually, there could be some "dishes of the day" but correctness wants a separated list attached to the menu, with clear prices. Especially when so high.
Up to you, but i do not suggest this "trattoria".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, really good food, nice place for a relax dinner outside of the city. It's a family's place with parking area on the side. Tables outside or inside, nice during the summer and winter.
