Ottima pulizia e cortesia del servizio, rapido ed accurato. Antipasti eccellenti, salumi locali e tipica ventricina, salami e pecorino locale. Anche i primi deliziosi con utilizzo di ingredienti locali e ricette della provincia chietina. Consigliato il sugo di agnello sui rintroceri, pasta lancianese tipica che ricorda i troccoli. Immancabile il peperoncino nell'olio da sperimentare assieme al pecorino grattugiato per i primi. Da provare i bocconcini ripieni di crema.. Naturalmente il montepulciano d'abruzzo è di ottima compagnia ... Da consigliare! From an internet search near Lanciano we found good reviews which we all confirm here! Excellent cleanliness and courtesy of the service, fast and accurate. Excellent appetizers, local salami and typical ventricina, salami and local pecorino. Even the first delicious dishes using local ingredients and recipes from the Chieti province. The lamb sauce on rintroceri is recommended, a typical Lancianese pasta reminiscent of troccoli. Chilli pepper in oil is a must to experiment with grated pecorino for the first courses. Try the bites filled with cream. Naturally the montepulciano d'abruzzo is of excellent company ... To recommend!

Ambiente caldo (sala rustica) con tavoli apparecchiati con un gusto accurato. (fiori freschi, tovaglioli di tnt felpato, tasca del pane in tela pesante di lino). Chiedo un mezzo sfuso di Cerasuolo "bello fresco"......me l'hanno portato nel cestello del ghiaccio!!?? Tagliere x 2 abbondante ed accurato. Chitarrina e Ntrogili all'agnello saporiti e ben presentati. Arrosticini freschi, appena preparati, con contorno di patate e cornetti. Dolce semifreddo pistacchio e pera caramellata davvero buono, e scenografico! Con 2 limoncelli in abbinamento. Anche il caffè era molto buono, cosa non così scontata. Bagni nuovi e profumati. La sorpresa poi del conto....non ci potevo credere!? Questi sono quei locali dove una gestione capace con del personale appassionato e ben preparato, alzano di molto l'asticella di una "umile" trattoria. Anche i bambini sono usciti coscienti di aver fatto una esperienza......"da grandi"! Consigliamo decisamente. Family evening. Welcoming manager and master of his profession. Quick and very cool table girl. Warm atmosphere (rustic room) with tables set with an accurate taste. (fresh flowers, plush TNT napkins, heavy linen bread pocket). I ask for a loose half of Cerasuolo "nice fresh" ...... they brought it to me in the ice bucket !! ?? Abundant and accurate cutting board x 2. Tasty and well presented Chitarrina and Ntrogili with lamb. Fresh skewers, just prepared, with a side of potatoes and croissants. Sweet pistachio and caramelized pear semifreddo really good, and spectacular! With 2 limoncelli in combination. The coffee was also very good which is not so obvious. New and fragrant bathrooms. Then the surprise of the bill .... I could not believe it! ? These are those places where a capable management with passionate and well-trained staff greatly raise the bar of a "humble" trattoria. Even the children came out aware of having had an experience ...... "grown up"! We definitely recommend.

E non è qualcosa che accade frequentemente, soprattutto considerando il numero di ristoranti in cui ho mangiato nelle ultime tre settimane! L'ambiente è piacevole, molto soft e tranquillo, fuori città con ampio parcheggio. Il servizio è anche ottimo e molto cordiale. Il cameriere mi ha addirittura portato un secchiello del ghiaccio per mezzo litro di vino bianco sfuso! Ho preso un Antipasto di Pesce, i Rigatoni allo Scampo, e infine un Semifreddo Pere e Pistacchi. L'antipasto era fantastico, oserei dire senza dubbio il miglior antipasto di pesce che ho mangiato negli ultimi anni! È composto da tanti piccoli assaggi tutti diversi tra loro - credo almeno 9 in tutto - e un piattino con una impepata di cozze. I rigatoni allo scampo erano anche molto molto delicati e molto buoni. E infine il semifreddo è davvero eccellente - lo sto mangiando mentre scrivo questa recensione - con un ottimo bilanciamento tra pistacchio e pera, e accompagnato da un bicchierino di Ratafia (liquore all'amarena tipico abruzzese). Totale spesa per antipasto, primo, dolce, e mezzo litro di bianco: 35 €, assolutante in linea con la qualità e quantità che ho mangiato. Che altro dire? Sarò in zona altre tre sere e pianifico di tornare alla Trattoria del Frapa almeno un'altra volta. Consigliato a più che pieni voti, 6/5, will be back ? La Trattoria della Frapa really * amazed me ! And that's not something that happens frequently, especially considering the number of restaurants I've eaten at in the past three weeks! The environment is pleasant, very soft and quiet, outside the city with ample parking. The service is also great and very friendly. The waiter even brought me an ice bucket for half a liter of bulk white wine! I took a Fish Appetizer, Rigatoni allo Scampo, and finally a Semifreddo with Pears and Pistachios. The starter was fantastic , I dare say without a doubt the best fish starter I have eaten in years! It is made up of many small samples all different from each other - I think at least 9 in all - and a plate with a peppered mussels. The rigatoni allo scampo were also very very delicate and very good. And finally the semifreddo is really excellent - I'm eating it as I write this review - with an excellent balance between pistachio and pear, and accompanied by a shot of Ratafia (typical Abruzzo sour cherry liqueur). Total expense for appetizer, first course, dessert, and half a liter of white wine: € 35, absolutely in line with the quality and quantity I ate. What else to say? I'll be in the area three more evenings and plan to go back to Trattoria del Frapa at least * one more time. Recommended with more than full marks, 6/5, will be back ?

Menù a mio avviso con una scelta piuttosto limitata, la scelta è stata sul tagliere con affettati, formaggi e verdure ed assaggino di pallotte tipiche abruzzesi e baccalà al sugo. Arrosticini e salsiccia grigliata con contorno di spinaci e patate, buone ma nella norma di una cucina casalinga. Come dessert un semifreddo accompagnato da un assaggio di sherry. Nel complesso buono con un conto abbastanza modesto ed alla portata di tutti. Small trattoria between Lanciano and San Vito Chietino, a well-kept and welcoming place with revisited rustic furnishings. Menu in my opinion with a rather limited choice, the choice was on the cutting board with cold cuts, cheeses and vegetables and a taste of typical Abruzzese pallotte and cod with sauce. Arrosticini and grilled sausage with spinach and potatoes, good but in the standard of a home cooking. For dessert, a parfait accompanied by a taste of sherry. Overall good with a fairly modest bill and within everyone's reach.

The multi-course meal was very very good, with fresh seafood and more, and the service made the experience even better. A night to remember! The restaurant is decorated very beautifully, and the building is also amazing to see.
