E' in centro storico a Savignano sul Rubicone a pochi mt dalla via Emilia... la Trattoria dell’Autista, un luogo dove il tempo sembra essere rimasto fermo da un po.
Piatti della tradizione romagnola con porzioni abbondanti e sapori decisi.
La Trattoria fondata nel 1860 come Osteria da nonno Attilio Gobbi, diventerà poi, per stare al passo,Trattoria. Interessante la storia di una gestione che è sempre rimasta in mano alla famiglia Gobbi. Ad Attilio,al figlio Elio, a seguire il figlio Mauro, accompagnato ancora oggi dal figlio Nicola.
Si chiama Trattoria dell’Autista perché una volta era la sosta di camionisti per un pasto veloce.
Ancora oggi è meta per tanti lavoratori, principalmente nell’orario del pranzo.
La Trattoria è piccola. Sulla sinistra la cucina poi due salette, arredate molto semplicemente.
Vi raccontano a voce il menù, nulla di scritto sul tavolo
ma fuori sono esposti i prezzi. La pasta è fatta in casa, tortelloni, tagliatelle, strozzapreti, lasagne al forno, passatelli in brodo… I secondi propongono pollo alla cacciatora,mercoledì baccalà in umido, trippa, fegato e arrosti vari, accompagnati da contorni.
Spettacolari i dolci,creme caramel e torta di ricotta che vi possono essere serviti anche in piccole porzioni assaggio. Il Vino sfuso è naturalmente Sangiovese ma, per chi cerca altro c’è qualche altra proposta

It is in the historic center of Savignano sul Rubicone a few meters from the Via Emilia ... the Trattoria dell’Autista, a place where time seems to have stood still for a while.
Traditional Romagna dishes with generous portions and strong flavors.
The Trattoria, founded in 1860 as Osteria da nonno Attilio Gobbi, will later become, to keep up, Trattoria. The story of a management that has always remained in the hands of the Gobbi family is interesting. To Attilio, to his son Elio, to follow his son Mauro, still accompanied today by his son Nicola.
It is called Trattoria dell’Autista because it was once a stop for truckers for a quick meal.
Even today it is a destination for many workers, mainly during lunch hours.
The Trattoria is small. On the left is the kitchen and then two small rooms, furnished very simply.
They tell you about the menu verbally, nothing written on the table
but the prices are displayed outside. The pasta is homemade, tortelloni, tagliatelle, strozzapreti, baked lasagna, passatelli in broth… The second courses offer chicken cacciatore, Wednesday stewed cod, tripe, liver and various roasts, accompanied by side dishes.
The desserts, creme caramel and ricotta cake that can also be served in small tasting portions are spectacular. The bulk wine is naturally Sangiovese but, for those looking for something else, there is some other proposal

We sat very nicely in the garden.
The wine recommended was delicious as well as all dishes containing plenty of food.
Extraordinary good prices.

Very good ravioli with sage, very nice atmosphere for people that are not looking for trendy place.
The toilets are like before many years (an hole).
