β β β β β Good Italian home cooking for lunch and the waiter was great. The dΓ©cor is not important -can't understand why anyone would complain about it. This is a family run place where locals will go and it is very reasonably priced. What's not to like?!!.

I ordered grilled meat. It arrived half cold and was totally over-cooked (I ordered sangue). Big disappointment. All their fishes seem to come placed on a mountain of green salad.
For the poor quality I experienced the dishes are over priced.
Very basic trattoria which comes with the prices of a ristorante.

β β β β β My wife and I were told that Gnocchi is good in Trattoria del Carmine. But today they didn't have it, so we had to choose other pasta. But even the pasta itself was not that special, it had it's unique specialty to make me finish my dish, as I am not a big fan of carbs so usually don't finish rice balls and pasta dishes. Nice place for reasonable price!

β β β β β Compare to all of the touristy area restaurants which offer under-quality and over-priced meals, this restaurant is a hidden gem. Waiters are attentive and friendly, and foods are reasonably priced while delivering superior flavor. The seafood pasta was exceptionally good. We would definitely come back in a few days.
