My wife ordered mixed fried sea food… they brought us a plate of fried calamari and when we told them, that we didn’t order this, they added 3 pieces of fried fish on top and brought it back. Anyway, we gave it back and they were „so friendly“ and didn’t calculate the price in our bill. The mussle soup, which was not so soupy at all, gets one star from me. Tip for tourist like us… be careful, they bring a bottle of water without asking. If you don’t want it, tell them at the beginning.

The antipasti were okay, we had shrimps in a sauce which was fine, but nothing like a 5 star rating. The primo was awful. The fish I wanted they didn’t have so they recommended the swordfish. Never had one but this one I didn’t know if I was eating chicken or fish …. Maybe it’s normal. The sauce was nothing special, nothing to be happy about to eat at your holiday. The other primo was the plate of three where all three pieces tasted very burned. The octopus had some Glibber stuff on it … looked very strange, tasted strange and was burned. We also had to wait long to order our second course. As we weren’t native speakers, nobody cared about hosting us … was very unsatisfying service. Two points for the okayish starter, the rest was a 1 star rating.

They make you pay for the restaurant compliments, extra baskets of bread (that they keep on bringing). To illustrate: we ordered octopuses, which were burned and tasted like rubber. When asked, told to the waiter that the food is so-so. He was irritated and ran to the kitchen. In a few minutes we were presented a dish of baby octopuses, which we declined. The waiter insisted that we try, since that's the signatory dish. It was all done in a pushy manner and loked as a compliment for the spoiled main order. But sure enough, all of it were to be found in our bill. When asked, how come we have to pay for the food, we received no explanation but the arrogant shoulders shrug. To sum up: very rude, untasty and disappointing experience.

However, octopus could cook in much softer way. also, they have don’t all the dishes on the menu and staff don’t speak English too much. It’s good place to enjoy Sicilian cuisine for late lunch after beach. They offered free lemon ice cream after dinner

I ate a lot of Italian food in my life but this one here is just wow. Worth it all the money and time. Would be back for sure. For my Italian experience:)
