★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We turned up at 1.20pm (they close at 2pm) and felt like an inconvenience. As such, only a few dishes made available to us so we picked meatballs and the grilled sole. Slightly overcooked and not that tasty. House wine good though. Keep looking..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A totally unassuming place with the u.s.p. of sparing you the time you might have otherwise spent fighting for a table in Venice. A basic menu of traditional dishes + the menu of the day. No pizza btw. What I had (pasta + salad) was really nondescript. But yes, it is affordable. Hope we just had an unhappy experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely service - guy was super friendly (he did turn away a couple later, but they arrived as the kitchen closed). Unfortunately food wasn’t that special - neither pasta nor tomato sauce seemed fresh, bit disappointing in Italy. Still decent enough & reasonably priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very lovely atmosphere outside under the grape vines. This is a true local place, the waiter really struggled with English but was patient with trying to explain the menu etc. We didnt really know 100% what we werr getting until it was on our plate lol. We had set 3 course menu 18euro pasta, chcken and salad, litre caraff of house wine 9 euro and the kids had good old chips 3 euro. Food was nice and authentic

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kind of cute place but no one speaks english here. The food wasn't anything special but it was ok.
We ordered some spaghetti with mussels and fried squid. Both of them were ok, but none of them great.
Go here if you are hungry, but not if you are looking for something special.
