Service was excellent like the food. A Trattoria serving local, traditional specialities but with an original flair.
Staff speak good English and a little German and were even willing to endure my attempts at Italian. Right on the Brenda canal. TRY THIS or miss something special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I are staying in a B&B nearby, and we stopped in for dinner. The staff is friendly and they speak English. The food was wonderful, and the presentation was superb. After a day in Venice with all the tourists, it was great to come back to a laid back place where the locales eat. The food was tasty, the ambience was pleasing, and the prices were reasonable.

Cute, clean, friendly and with a menu to provide you an enjoyable meal. The hostess was multi lingual and very welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn't decide between 3 and 4. But I think 4.5 is a bit high for this restaurant. The stringent covid policy on the outside terrace is a detriment. The wine selection is very good and the advice given is solid. I thought the octopus was overcooked and understated, might be a north Italy thing, I'm not sure. Ravioli with salmon had cheese on them, strange but... Okay I guess.
