★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Accogliente e di qualità, ho visitato per la prima volta questa gemma quasi nascosta in quel di Gironico questa sera. Io e la mia compagna abbiamo potuto godere di un ottimo antipasto, un buon secondo e un altrettanto gradevole dolce.
Lo staff è stato rapido e cordiale.
Ci tornerò presto.
 Welcoming and quality, I visited this almost hidden gem in Gironico for the first time this evening. My partner and I were able to enjoy an excellent appetizer, a good main course and an equally pleasant dessert.
The staff was quick and friendly.
I'll be back soon.

Cortesia e grande attenzione e preparazione comunicativa delle 2 ragazze in sala.
Cibo ben presentato, cucinato in modo non banale, con attenzioni da ristorante di livello.
Pasta cremosa, cotta al punto giusto.
Carne tenerissima e guarnita splendidamente.
Ogni portata una scoperta.
I dolci, una delizia per gli occhi prima e per il palato subito dopo.
Dire che qualcosa non andava, sarebbe una grandiosa bugia.
Il conto?.....una sorpresa, quasi da non crederci.

Unico piccolissimo neo a mio avviso: un pizzico di musica in sottofondo, avrebbe reso ancor più personale la già felice esperienza.
Lunch for the couple. Veranda on the back. Heated to perfection, and the little crowding due to the distance has created an even more "intimate" atmosphere.
Courtesy and great attention and communicative preparation of the 2 girls in the room.
Well presented food, cooked in a non-trivial way, with the attention of a restaurant of a level.
Creamy pasta, cooked to the right point.
Very tender and beautifully garnished meat.
Each course a discovery.
The desserts, a delight for the eyes first and for the palate immediately after.
To say that something was wrong would be a great lie.
The bill? ..... a surprise, almost unbelievable.

The only tiny flaw in my opinion: a pinch of background music would have made the already happy experience even more personal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good food, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and at a fair price. Off the beaten path, but worth the km or two of narrow country roads. It was a fall day and the wood fireplace was a welcome addition.
