★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si sta bene e si mangia molto bene, non è sul mare ma c'è una terrazza esterna con un grande ulivo, una miciona che osserva dall'alto e l'impressione è proprio di stare a casa loro. Al mare ci andate la mattina. Ottima cucina, alici fritte superlative, selezione di pesci affumicati di laguna, pesce freschissimo cercando la prima scelta fra i pesci meno blasonati ma molto saporiti, cosa che permette loro di contenere i costi per un rapporto q/p ottimo. Ricette non troppo elaborate (per fortuna) ma estremamente ben eseguite. Paolo in sala e Rosita in cucina sono una squadra perfetta
 You feel good and eat very well, it is not on the sea but there is an outdoor terrace with a large olive tree, a cat watching from above and the impression is just of being at home. You go to the sea in the morning. Excellent cuisine, superlative fried anchovies, selection of smoked lagoon fish, very fresh fish looking for the first choice among the less famous but very tasty fish, which allows them to contain costs for an excellent q / p ratio. Recipes not too elaborate (fortunately) but extremely well executed. Paolo in the dining room and Rosita in the kitchen are a perfect team

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attratti dalle positive recensioni ho convinto mia moglie a venire a mangiare in questa trattoria. Il nome del locale "A casa di Paolo e Rosita" descrive perfettamente quello che troverete: un posto semplice, come andare a mangiare a casa dei propri genitori. Sia la cuoca sia il cameriere sono di una dolcezza infinita e valgono solo per questo il viaggio. Effettivamente l'attesa non è breve ma quando vi portano il piatto ordinato, l'unica parola che utilizzerete per descrivere la portata è wow. Io e mia moglie abbiamo ordinato come antipasto bruschette e mozzarella in carrozza con alici: fantastici!!!
Tagliatelle fatte in casa con triglia e pomodorini semplici ma fantastici allo stesso tempo: la pasta fresca al dente, la triglia fresca ed un tocco di peperoncino rendono questo piatto meraviglioso. Mia moglie ha preso la sugarella (pesce azzurro) molto gustoso. Tutti i piatti abbondanti. Come dolce abbiamo preso la crema pasticcera all'arancia: semplice ma veramente buona. Preso mezzo litro di vino bianco della casa (buono) e un litro di acqua al prezzo di € 50.
Per concludere: mi è sembrato di mangiare a casa di mia mamma tanto è l'amore che ti trasmette lo staff. Per me è una tappa obbligatoria per chiunque è amante dei piatti non gourmet ma deliziosi.
PS: sono amanti degli animali e hanno portata l'acqua al nostro cane senza doverla chiedere. Un plus.
Attracted by the positive reviews I convinced my wife to come and eat at this restaurant. The name of the place "A casa di Paolo e Rosita" perfectly describes what you will find: a simple place, like going to eat at your parents' house. Both the cook and the waiter are of infinite sweetness and are worth the journey for this alone. Actually the wait is not short but when they bring you the dish ordered, the only word you will use to describe the course is wow. My wife and I ordered bruschetta and mozzarella in carrozza with anchovies as an appetizer: fantastic !!!
Homemade tagliatelle with mullet and cherry tomatoes simple but fantastic at the same time: fresh pasta al dente, fresh mullet and a touch of chilli make this dish wonderful. My wife got the sugarella (blue fish) very tasty. All hearty dishes. For dessert we took the orange custard: simple but really good. I took half a liter of house white wine (good) and a liter of water for the price of € 50.
To conclude: I felt like I was eating at my mom's house, so much is the love that the staff transmits to you. For me it is a must for anyone who loves non-gourmet but delicious dishes.
PS: they are animal lovers and they brought water to our dog without having to ask. A plus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pranzo con la famiglia è stata una piacevole sorpresa, trovata su Google. Lontano dal centro città e in zona tranquilla. Piatti gustosi di pesce fresco, ottima qualità e giusta quantità. Buono per il menù bambini. Ambiente molto familiare e accogliente. Parcheggio trovato, ma non facile.
Having lunch with the family was a pleasant surprise, found on Google. Far from the city center and in a quiet area. Tasty fresh fish dishes, excellent quality and right quantity. Good for the children's menu. Very familiar and welcoming environment. Parking found, but not easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this restaurant with my husband and daughter. We all were impressed by the honest Italian food, simple but incredible delicious! We were told we had to wait a while (because the restaurant was full) and we were glad we did. The staff works hard and is really friendly! Would we ever come back to Porto Stefano for sure we would pay Paolo and Rosita a visit again!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Emailed at noon for a reservation. Get there at 7:45, nothing available and to come back at 9:30, doesn’t check his email. Come back at 9:30, get a table right away. Over 10 tables are full and only one gentleman serving/doing bills/cleaning tables. Definitely need another person to help. Had two seafood pasta dishes, nothing impressive. Very hot inside restaurant, sweating while eating the meals.
Although good portions and good prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't let the extended walk or non tourist address put you off, the food and the service are wonderful. We had a beautiful three course meal with wine and loved every moment of the authentic family style service. The owner chooses his fish from the market just the night before, and the menu then follows. Wonderful place, wonderful authentic Italian food, and lovely service. Go!! Enjoy!!
